Behind the concept:
The collection is based on the 70s protests against the rape crisis. The frustration and disassociation along with other emotions felt by victims of rape, are channelled through the garments.
Carlot interpreted this narrative in a visual form- without directly confronting the audience the specific nature of the designs. Instead she focused on the portrayal of these emotions of discomfort and anger and confusion through the old fable - The Princess & The Pea.
