Nice Scott! Wish I could have been there. I saw a 1:29:58 as your fastest lap in this session right near the end in the last 2-3 laps. By the way, I’m not sure if you realized this but you apparently and inadvertently changed your PTM mode from “Sport 2” to “Race” at the 15:49 mark on the front straight away on the downshift 4th gear to 3rd. Right after that is when you commented about the car getting loose since now all the nannies were turned off. I’ve read about others that have inadvertently switching the PTM during a session. I’m not sure if I have since I haven’t analyzed all of my sessions. Your best lap in “Sport 2” was a 1:30:00 flat so you ended up just slightly edging that time in “Race” with the 1:29:58 as you got used to and made the adjustment.

I know how it feels. I did my first track day ever at Barber this past weekend. I got two laps at 1:54 back to back and lap after that I got my highest top speed of 114.9 mph and was on a fast pace but I got held up with traffic. It's fun and a learning experience. All in my little VW with and instructor with me. I had fun and a lot of friendly people there, too.

I hated there was fresh grass scattered all over the road from the recent mowing. I would have pushed harder but had concerns about grip.

You got quite a few laps after that low fuel alert 1:54. Great timing and good thinking on getting off track at the back gate! I went right by you after you turned off. I'll post that video of us riding together soon and the BMW skid & save. Congrats on your sub 1.30!

That was me in the blue Boxster at 4:00 - breaking 1.30 is a good laptime at Roebling and as you come back you will get faster and faster! I enjoyed running with you out there this past weekend.

Looks like the mode defaulted back to Tour. If you turn your car off in Race setting it will turn itself to Tour on next startup. Sport mode will stay in Sport, though. Barber was a blast! I was there in the black 1LE #306 at the 4:05 mark. The track was a little scary those first two sessions with it being damp. Keep it up! I'm glad to see other Camaro owners driving their cars how they were meant to be driven.
