The question as to if you’re still alive when the fungus takes over was answered in the beginning of episode #1, it keeps the body alive, there’s just no human traits, memories Ect. Also, you don’t turn if you actually die, the fungus needs a living host. As for Henry pulling the gun on Joel, yes, he was confused to the situation with Sam & Ellie and it was instinctual to shoot his brother , then shock realizing that he in fact had just killed his brother, then guilt.Ellie wasn’t just trying to comfort Sam, at 14yrs old, I think she really hoped her blood could cure him, probably why she didn’t tell Joel or Henry.

You guys are cutting out way too big of chunks out of the show, you cut out the site of all the infected on the ground and the talk Tess had with Elli, then the whole scene of Elli and Joel on the rooftop? Also, you don’t have to cut out the swearing, it’s literally a huge part of Ellie’s, in particular personality. I’d make your episodes a bit longer, even with editing they’re too short.😊

Great discussion again. You guys have good predictions but yes, expect lots of curveballs. I like the analogy of it being a puzzle that they give you random pieces of so that you can't put it together yet. About the wall: I think they are going off that the wall is made of the same composition as the hardened titan shell that Annie made (Hnage was studying it under the microscope) and there are titans in the wall. Plus a little desperation. I think desperation to survive is a strong motivation for all in this.

At 19:30, you’re discussing the sizes. The Colossal is 60 meters, that’s why he’s called the Colossal Titan. The Armored Titan, Annie and Eren are 15 meters. And then before he died in episode 1 of this season, Miche observed that the Beast Titan was around 17 meters

Here is a sort of standard comment I have posted on a lot of the reactions to this series that I come across...hope you don't mind me copy/pasting it here. One thing I will add, is that the more I learn about the history of the RBMK reactor and of the Chernobyl power plant, the more I feel that a lot of context is left out of the show, and it could have been more accurate if it had revealed some of that. This a really good series...one of the best ever made...but the producers did get some things wrong. Some things were changed intentionally for the purposes of storytelling, and the makers of the series put in a series of notes at the end of the last episode of the series explaining some of them. They also have a podcast that they put out along with the show in which they talk about other things they altered from the history and why. However, I do recommend you check out the History vs Hollywood article on Chernobyl when you are done watching the whole series, so you can find out about the other things that the producers got wrong that they do not admit to. Definitely wait until you are done with the series so you do not spoil anything for yourself.

Don't mind if I do~ In a serious note, a lot of this series is painful to watch and may feel gratuitous at times, but I personally think it's important. There is a vast difference between being told about a horrible thing and watching it happen, knowing it must and that it DID and we are feeling what we are feeling only watching essentially reenactions. I think it's important to always keep in the back of your mind that all of the suffering that is to come are things real people had to go through and to appreciate we all would be living very different lives if not for everything sacrificed in those years. I was born in Riga June 6, 1986. My mom tells me how she remembers sunbathing in Ukraine while visiting a friend, heavily pregnant with me and watching that cloud, listening to the government saying everything is fine and safe on the radio.
