Nice bits of kit you got there,you could throw in some coffee filters and some water purifying tabs,ive got a mre in my bob with some 3in1 coffees,you can't beat a nice cup of hot chocolate 👍

Good idea about the foot powder, any old squaddie will tell you the importance of foo foo powder. You need to look after your feet especially if your hoofing it out of dodge. A couple of other things id suggest would be some spare socks x 2 pairs sealed in a plastic zip lock bag to keep em dry. ( believe me wet socks are no joke any time of the year ) Id also include a woolen watch cap and some wool gloves ( i know your carry work gloves these would be more to keep your hands warm then for all the time use ) and finally 1 of those cheap orange survival bags (500g plastic heavy duty ) As an extra insulation layer and as an emergency sleeping bag but also for use as a signal device incase you need to be rescued. Apart from that nice set up. And its great to see someone testing there kit instead of just leave it sitting there until required. Enjoy the bank holiday mate ATB Rob

To call youself a woodsman i think there must be a minimum amount of other people's rubbish that must be taken out of the woods oer year. Im going to make a competition for extracted rubbish between now and Christmas. Tonage and style of extraction . Difficulty to extract will be part of how i judge the winner . No vehicular extractions allowed 😂 I think 100 euro would be a good prize . Did you take any of that crap home with you ? Hope you are well .

Cant beat a euro hike tent marra i use the gaia 3 and i love like and the water proofing is brilliant 65 quid it was good stuff showing this one marra they get the job done without breaking the bank good stuff

eurohike good for the price i got 10 years out of mine although now i prefere vango or just good tarp, i always wake up at 5.30 camping it would be nice to have a lay in but never happens. thanks for sharing

Very nice bit of kit, plenty of pockets and pouches to keep everything organised, you can fit a chest strap to it yourself and that will give it better stability, perfect for a day pack and more by the looks of it 👍

I just picked a #2 box and its the same, all 4-5 years out of date. £20 wasted for me as well, the dog can it. There's no date on the outside of the box for the seller to see.

The Sendero 8XL is now £179, bought one today because my wife wants more room as I apparently bring too much crap with me. She wants an 8 man for 2 Adults and 1 Dog, a Jack Russell at that, wouldn’t mind I only bought a 4 man Air Tent from Decathlon last year, that was £269 but you can get them a bit cheaper now, only used 4/5 times at most for 3 nights each and it looks like one of the air beams is either bust or just twisted but got no help in store or online. Bought the 8XL as a surprise, only to get a message saying this 5 man that’s only £139 has loads of great reviews on the camping forums, that’s before she knew I’d bought the bigger one, hoping to cancel and get the 5 man or possibly the Senero 6, not XL so front opening with large bedroom with a central partition, £125

I miss my multi cam one, hammered it over the years hence why I need a new one. Currently using a coyote brown colour at the moment. The multi cam is some of the best camo around in my opinion.

Nice one, you've made me want to do more bushbox cooking,i haven't had bacon grill for ages,handy matches and a decent price for them,i usually use those wood wool type firelighters or a bit of birch bark and then split a piece of ash and throw that in,that was a good test in your bushbox 👍, I'm liking the new tarp and set up,i have the same tarp.
