Chuck was a genius. And that's an understatement.

Biblically incorrect on quite a few points. The Lords day is still the 7th day of the week and we should still be observing it. The millennium will not be spent on earth it will be in Gods heavenly kingdom. When Jesus returns for His bride His feet wont touch the ground 1Thess 4:17, we will meet Him in the air and go into His kingdom which will descend to earth after millennium Rev 21:1-10. There will be no pretrib rapture and no 7 year tribulation. This is all a total misunderstanding of Daniels 70 week prophecy. The 7 years occured about 2000 years ago. There will b a time of tribulation but not 7 years and all will have t go through it. Most Christians do not prayefully study their bibles so are easily led astray by false teachers like this. Pray and ask God to lead you in truth and keep you from error. Jesus warned about deception in Matt 24. Im no theologian i am a laborer but through humble, earnest prayer He is guiding me, i hope u do the same. Oh, and Gods covenant with physical isreal ended in 34AD at the stoning of Stephen this is another misunderstanding of Daniel 9:24-27 so no, we are not to support irael and their current slaughter. In Matthew 18 to 20, the main issue that the apostles were grappling was, who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Here l have to ask myself also who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? I think no one would disagree with me to say that it can only be Jesus Himself. If we all agree that only Jesus is qualified to be the greatest then the message here isn't teaching us the method how to be the greatest, but rather revealing to us that Jesus is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. The attribute to be the greatest has to do with someone who is loving others the most, serving others the most and sacrificing for others the most. Jesus's teaching is to reveal that apart from Himself no one fits the bill. So the message isn't teaching us how to be the greatest. The message here that Jesus wanted to reveal to His followers is that He is the greatest that He laid down His life for all. Jesus interjected to remind them the 3rd time that He was going to lay down His life by going down to Jerusalem to suffer many things and to die on the cross for them and for us. In the sinful nature, these apostles and us too, want to know how to achieve the status to be greatest by our own efforts. That is just our carnal nature thinking and talking. If we can't elevate to the very top, we at the minimum be thinking that we are at the very least better than most. So if we can agree that Jesus is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, then the message in these 3 chapters isn't teaching us about how to be the greatest or greater, but pointing us to Jesus Himself that He loves, He serves and He sacrifices His life to be the least, the last that only Jesus can be the greatest. It's only to trust in Jesus that we are made right with God and credited to us the right to be called sons of God.

I love chucks teaching.in every book he is so thorough.god certainly blessed him and I tell everyone to get into a study with him watch.their lives change from understanding the scriptures thru chuck misslers teachings.

He is still the best Bible teacher - so rich, deep, and more comprehensive. The Bible really is a lifetime of never ending study … or at least he resonates with me more than any other I’ve come across. Btw, the letter J wasn’t in the English (or any I believe) language until the 1500s. The Greek for Yeshua is Ienous. I’d be curious to be know that conversation in the 1500’s when it was decided J sounds would be better for English and Yeshua became Jesus.
