Well, hot dog. This was really neat-o. Some might even say it was Magneato. And I dig the trick wrapping jobs. My mom did that one year with a whole bunch of arcade tokens, and I just got the biggest kick out of it. Very nice haul too. We both got comics, something Persona related, and TTRPG stuff.

And say what you will about the horribleness of Twilight, without it, the world wouldn't have had Rifftrax Twilight, which is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Mike came back and filmed some scenes in all hollows eve as well and they brought the babysitter back for 1 and 2 she was the one doing the interview with Victoria it would be sick as fuck if the babysitter from all hollows eve is the author of the 9th circle book in 3 because we know the babysitter is one of the survivors of art the clown and she watched and witnessed the 9th circle on the tape so she has history

I just read this issue this morning in preparation for the red band werewolf series. I wasnt expecting Jake Gomez...very disappointed. I was hoping for some Jack Russell carnage.

Dude! The trash bag gags were great, haha! Also having finally watched Terrifier 3, I gotta say it was nuts and paced really well; better than 2.

I've often heard DxD accused of being much too sexy. But never can they say that Disheveled Doug isn't well-prepared. What other host comes out with a trash bag full of video props? None, I tell you. None. And bonus points for the Mercyful Fate talk.

I had seen a lot of wacky movies as a kid, but when I first saw this one back in the '90s, I had never seen anything quite like it. "My wife...my sister... the mother of my children." That's some funny/weird stuff right there.

Believe it or not, I did actually see the first one. Not something in my wheelhouse, but I appreciated how old school it was. Did the series continue on like that?

Other than the Fright Night and the Nightbreed comics, I never really collected horror comics. By the time I started collecting heavily, I was all about superheroes. I did, though, pick up Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, which I quite enjoyed.

The writing in that book seems a bit gonzo and comedy-tinged; maybe that's just my weird sense of humor though; the outdated phrasing is indeed cringe if repeated. The compilation of you reading through it in various places highlights something about books that people, including myself, forget too often.

It's probably been close to ten years ago now since I gave up on Marvel. I gave DC a shot briefly before just moving fully into smaller publishers. So I am very behind on the big two. I'll just live vicariously through you.

Hmm, interesting to see your take on a comic you didn't favor as much. I get the sense that it's a quick turn-around product; I've seen as much in other mediums for sure.
