Ritchie Blackmore and Ronnie James Dio Summon a Demon
In this video we examine Ritchie Blackmore and Ronnie James Dios' fascination with magic and spiritualistic phenomena as well as the occult teachings surrounding it contrasted with the Orthodox Christian doctrine of spirits and the afterlife.

The Satanic Philosophy of King Diamond and Mercyful Fate
Просмотров 143 тыс.Год назад
Welcome to the debut episode of The Metal Mystic, where we analyze the occult philosophy of some of our favorite metal artists from an Orthodox Christian perspective. Today we're taking a look at the satanic philosophy of one of metal's most influential and enduring figures, the master of the metal macabre: King Diamond both with his original band, the legendary Mercyful Fate, as well as his se...
*"The greatest trick the Děv¡l ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist"* *- Roger 'Verbal' Kint*
Hail Satan
You can not worship Jesus Christ and this type of stuff at the same time! Any music that doesn't praise God is satanic in nature.. music was created to praise our creator!
ALL music is the devils music
Satanism is a Christian religion.
Not even close
Only in your head
Is this channel over the 2 videos on are great bring it back if you guys start posting more videos of this nature it will get popular
Thanks. I have another video in the works and it's taking me forever. Sorry for the wait. I hope it will be worth it.
The stuff is evil all of it new age likes to suger it up with there positive thinking but its all the same magic is evoking demons are familiar spirits that what it all is why are those spirits called familiar because they are ancient spirits who have been around long enough to literally every detail of your life things no could possibly know so when they think there speaking to the dead its not the dead its familiar spirits that know everything about you none of them are good they all hate you all of them not only do they hate you they want to be you its not to be played if ronnie really contacted a powerful demon like bail super high rank that explains his legendary status and his sudden death do not play with spirits its seriously forbidden
King Diamond is satire, he shows what the alleged god created. He doesn't believe in satan or god. Religion is absurd
Great video! I subscribed ❤ Can’t wait for your next video🎉
I'm a Christian, but King Diamond/mercyful fate is one of my favorite metal bands ever. He always has the best guitar players, and a huge influence in my writing style musically
I was listening to him in the late 80's-early 90's. My co-worker I met in 1995 is also a fan.
Common. So serious. It ia just an ACT! Grow up boys😂
Um no actually King takes it seriously and the Church of satan admits he is a member and says all other metal acts are the fake ones
Satanism is his life, he lives it
I was into bands like Ratt, Poison and Warrant. Then i discovered Mercyful Fate. I can enjoy them all, no problem Man.
Another great video! I legit facepalmed when Dio, after having the experience with Baal, did a seance and was surprised to see the demon return. It was like: really, dude? What did you think would happen? Also, coming from a Roman Catholic, Orthodoxy (and Eastern Catholicism by extension) is metal af.
In one of Ronnie's last interviews after he was diagnosed, he stated he did not believe in the devil. If he had conjured a spirit, it seems like he would have said something different. Obviously, he was selling the image and, therefore, records. Good for him. I am sure teenagers like I was at the time ate it up.
Satan of the Bible isn't Satan of the Catholic Church. The Bible is myth and the church added to that by portraying Satan as having horns and a pointy tail. Its all stories made up by people trying to understand the world around them at the time.
Got a lot of king and fate shows here on my page enjoy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
honest question, how do you reconcile being an Orthodox Christian and listening to metal bands that flirt with these subjects and in some cases dig themselves deep into them?
Great question. My honest answer is I don't know. I'm not sure that the two things can ultimately be reconciled. I try to compartmentalize things and stay aware of the messaging when I'm listening to bands like this. I also don't tend to listen to metal very often except in the gym. But I can say that if I'm being objective, I can feel a certain spiritual weight on me when I listen to certain bands, some more than others. Taking pleasure in the chaos of this kind of music can certainly open one up to other harmful passionate urges so I try to at least keep it at arm's length and not get too swept up in it. But I'm no spiritual father so I don't necessarily feel equipped to give any solid advice on the matter. Hope this helps.
@@themetalmystic333 I appreciate your honest answer.
Where's the Dio video :(
Hail the Sabbath 🤘🔥🤘
I usually don't watch video essays by religious channels because my hunch is that they will not be able to get over their own religious bias, but I thought I would give this a chance. In the beginning, it was fair, and apart from the occasional very subtle dig, you refrained from trying to drag Satanism. But then in the second half... oh dear. You just can't help yourselves, can you? A lot of eye rolling and long-suffering sighs, but when it came to this line onwards, I was genuinely appalled. "Only genuine Christianity can provide what the Satanist lacks: namely, tradition, virtue, and redemption." Genuine Christianity, which is naturally the variety that you follow, out of the hundreds of denominations which variously accuse each other of heresy. Uh huh. Tradition: this is so vague. Can you explain to me why your particular flavour of Christian "tradition" is something that my life is poorer for not having? My "tradition" is living free from fear and psychological abuse, and learning all about this remarkable and beautiful planet we live in, and not restricting and punishing myself based on a book some middle eastern zealots wrote a couple thousand years ago. Virtue: 😂😂😂 Ok, genuinely almost spat my drink at that one. How the hell are you more virtuous than me, because you believe what it says in the bible? Christians have committed far more less-than-virtuous deeds than Satanists, your claim is so demonstrably untrue it's hilarious. Redemption: Another vague, christian-centric platitude that is ultimately meaningless when used in a blanket statement like this. Redemption from what? When a Satanist does something wrong, they take responsibility for it, and work to rectify any wrongdoing they can. A Christian will claim Satan made them do it and just deflect any personal responsibility and pray for Jesus to forgive them instead of the person they harmed. Absolute nonsense as I feared it would be, just another religious guy preaching to the choir and alienating anyone else. You have not opened any minds to your cult here, friend. I recommend you listen to some Batushka if you want some nice orthodox metal. 🤘
Hey thanks for this thoughtful response , you raise some very important questions. Questions that I admittedly am ill-equipped to answer satisfactorily but I'll make an attempt regardless. With regard to tradition I'm referring specifically to the Orthodox Church, the only form of Christianity that can claim an unbroken continuity with the teachings passed down by Christ and the apostles. Many may dispute this claim, but it's true nonetheless. Don't take my word for it though (why would you?) As I pointed out in the video, this unbroken tradition has produced saints in every age, and continues to do so even today. The lives of the saints are a testament to the transformative power of the Christian faith and are tangible examples in the attainment of virtue and eternal life. This is what I mean by redemption: eternal life; deliverance from this corruptible state of human frailty, suffering, and death. Eternal life is the end, and virtue is the means. The practice of virtue, of struggling with our weaknesses and our disordered, destructive desires, is meant to heal and make us whole. In order to do that we have to take full responsibility for our wrongs and seek a remedy for them. Whenever possible we beg forgiveness of those we've harmed and strive to make amends. We even pray for our enemies and those who wish us harm. All of this, and more, is part and parcel of the spiritual struggle. It seems fair to say that you identify as a satanist. So why do you appeal to metaphysical categories like beauty and ideas of right and wrong? Aren't these all subjective in your view? What makes anything good or bad from your perspective? What makes something beautiful? I'm genuinely interested in your thoughts.
satan
Christianity is killing itself with its bigoted ideology.
His philosophy is from Anton LaVey
Will you put out more videos. These were helpful and entertaining. Be blessed.

The beginning was intriguing. The ending was hysterical AF 😂
Can you share what the painting is at 13:09? Thank you!
Ascent of the Blessed by Hieronymous Bosch
Satanism..is stupid. Lavey on his death bed was crying for God's forgiveness.
lol You believe that lie about LaVey and have the nerve to call others stupid lmao OH the irony
SHow me the video from the hospital room of Lavey crying for god? I am waiting?
The amount of metal riffs and solos they inspired is insane, every metal head and especially musical metal heads should do a history lesson on this man/band/enigma. The guy got it, that's for sure. He sure left his mark... And still a bit underground too, counterculture underground elite!? Yes definitely!
The greatest trick the DeviI ever pulled was convince the world it doesn't exist.
You should tell that to a psychologist
*Tips fedora*
There is no difference between white and black magic.
Yet Dio himself declared atheism. Why was he messing around with summoning demons, then?
Hail to the King Baby! 🤘❤😈
Satan is cooler than Christ. This is known.
😈😈😈😈😈
I like him as a singer but he says one thing and does another. He is a very confused person
What do you mean? I am curious
@@robertpreston2220 He claims he is a satanist though throughout history Satan or the Devil was always associated with evil and all kinds of problems. It's like saying he worships Moloch but instead also claiming he is a great guy that protects children. King claims his brand of Satanism is positive and a force for good, but his music which is obviously satanic also is about murder, death and all kinds of evil. Like attracts like , but he claims the opposite. So my conclusion is that he is either a liar or a very confused person
@@thebanished87 King is right. Everyone who reads the satanic bible agrees it is logical and life loving and very positive.
@@thebanished87 As far as his lyrics go he is not preaching satanism in them. He raises questions and is an entertainer and the killing in his lyrics are done by christians which is historically correct. Not by satanists.
@@thebanished87 How is satan evil? Everyone who reads the satanic bible agrees it is logical and life loving and very positive.

Brother, this is brilliant work! 👏 Thank you for your service!🙌
This video was awesome my dude. Watched the King Diamond one as well, hopefully someday you’ll make some more because I thoroughly enjoyed this!
Thanks man! Life stuff has been getting in the way a bit but I definitely have plans for more. Stay tuned and apologies for the wait!
It really upsets me when people Throw the Goat.
I don't know king personally, but I don't think that what he saw in Satanism isn't satisfying your bodily needs. More like having your mind liberated and avoiding having your life controlled by religions created in the ancient times.
Worship of S@t@n is the oldest religion in the world.
LONG LIVE THE KING
He doesn't believe the devil is real, but he praises and glorifies him, what a fool, that is exactly what the Bible says, the fool in his heart has said, there in no God.psalm 14verse 1.
Hail Satan!
It's sad that people are going to Hell and they don't even know it.
The Kip Winger of the Black Metal world!
cool
Baal would be a strange choice for assistance with music. King Paimon is my go-to
Are you GOSPOD?
lol nope but he said I could use his song
