Not for me this, pretty sure ridge monkey do something similar for way less as well. Just couldn’t part with the money for what it is. Understand the cash that’s gone into manufacturing but at the end of the day you’re still paying 50 quid for a bucket and a few snazzy fitting boxes. Me personally I’d buy a standard bucket and buy a few sturdy Tupperware tubs for lot less than half the price and it will do the exact same job without you having to feel like a bellend.

Started with a blow up bed and a 10 tog duvet in winter (-5 to minus 10 ) By 3 a.m it had gone flat. Progressed to a Fox Ultra, then a JRC Terry Hearn light weight bed chair ( I still have it) a Nash four leg indulgence then a Fox flatliner bed chair. Just watching this to see how much better the bed chair market has progressed too. We are spoilt for choice now. If you had a knackered back, needed to buy the most supportive, highest standing from the ground strong comfortable sleep system? In the market for a bed chair that will enable me to night fish again as the others were not up to the job.

The best rods are the Shimano TX ultra intensity 12ft 3.5 TC... Not cheap though !

Hi guys back again 😊. I went into the shop last Sunday but the carp section didn’t have any staff to ask a few more questions. I saw three sets of the Hi-S ive SR one with a duplon handle, one full shrink and one abbreviated. Are they a stock item or are they special order? Interested in the abbreviated. Is there a good day to come down and get the best advice?

Chaps, ER stands for Extra Responsive not Extreme Range. See exert from Free Spirit website below: As seen in the table there are two Hi-‘S’ive 12’ rods. The original ‘ive is stiffer in the tip and makes an excellent long range bag rod. We felt that the range was missing a rod with action more akin to the 13’ Hi-‘S’ive which is softer and more responsive in the upper part of the top section. This helps with casting smaller leads and also with the use of lighter lines to gain maximum distance. The result was the addition of the Hi-‘S’ive 12’ ER to the range - ‘ER’ standing for Extra Responsive. Thanks
