Why didn't you paint the frame? Nice truck but on a shitty frame. That is not the proper way to build something.

thats a cool truck, and i just subscribed. i just love these 79 and 80 series models and i'm planning to get an 80 series soon, hoping to learn some things from your journey putting it together coz i plan to strip and restore the entire thing myself as a project.

Great progress! Making me want to find another project myself lol For donor seats if you are open to anything check out the bucket seats in random things like smart cars and minis they had some pretty comfortable seats. I used Saturn sc1 buckets in a build before but they are probably all gone now. Find a wrecker and start trying out random vehicles.
