Can I still get gallstones if I had my gallbladder removed?
No
Almost no, for most of the gallstones come from ur gallbladder, although still a small part of them from the liver.
No
I was told yes, not super common but can happen. Thinking it has happened it to me.
Yes it happen to me after my gallbladder removed, I had bad pain in my Back and upper stomach, I went to emergency they do CT scan and after they found stones in the region of the gallbladder. And than my doctor ask me to the MRI to see more details about it, I m still waiting to see what I have to do, really painful 😢
Is it common for people to struggle during this procedure? My girlfriend is having this done tomorrow and she's terrified that they won't sedate her enough and she's going to gag and struggle.
How did she get on? I’m worried about this too.
@@Aliciae411 she actually did great. She told me everyone was very kind to her and introduced themselves. They brought her into the operating room, started an IV, and a nurse put the teeth guard in her mouth. Then she said they gave her something that put her out very quickly. I'm guessing it was propofol by the way she described it. She said her body felt like very heavy for a few seconds and the last thing she remembered was she felt a nurse stroking her hair and someone said "you're doing great sweetie" after that she was in recovery and her mom was there talking to her. She didn't remember anything else about the procedure
@@codywright2654 that’s great. I just had mine today, in England we have conscious sedation and aren’t put to sleep. It wasn’t pleasant but not too bad!
@@Aliciae411 did you gag at all?
@@codywright2654 yea quite a few times. I think I grabbed for the tube the first time it happened and they had to stop me and told me they were already in my stomach and nearly done.
Very nice information
I'll in 😊
