Thank you for sharing! You're so brave <3
I remember when I attending my grandpa Higuera funeral they removed the poles on the east side of the road so the hearse could park there. The Madonna's paid for the families limousines and food for the reception afterwards. I was around 10 yrs old at the time. So it left quite the impression on me.
My mom was a Higuera. We had the last family reunion at Santa Rosa Park in San Luis Obispo in 23.
Thank you so much for all you do

Jill Stearns, Cuesta College, she is a terrible animal, not a person. I can't believe people serve her. Stupid college administration. She is a big liar, like all Democrats. I have evidence to support my testimony.
Downtown had a lot of stores for residents. Big chain stores, mixed with locally owned and operated smaller stores dominated downtown. This is not the case today, with many vacancies. You noticed the signage and look of each store front back when, as there were no trees. It was a lovely and safe place to grow up in. The 1950's-1970's was a great time for SLO, and the middle-class of America (1945 to 1971). Only the building are as it was, and I assume Agenda21 will change the buildings and lifestyles forever, going forward - backwards.
honestly, this may work for your relationship but this thinking is VERY black and white and stereotypical which can be damaging overall for gender equality. no one person is set to talk a certain way based on their hormones or genitals. humans are much more complicated than that.
Don't close it unless natural gas replaces it or new nuclear. politicians & the public need to stop comparing advanced nuclear energy to that of the Chernobyl disaster. This is like saying the Pinto was a bad car so we should stop producing any more cars.
Dr Dale Bredeson's book The End of Alzheimers is the definitive word on this horrific disease. In it he identifies 30 some causes. His book title is serious. He is healing people that follow his protocols to reverse it. It is multi-faceted and must be attacked on multiple fronts...none of which are pharmaceuticals. It's the clinically researched truth and everyone should read it. Also, here's an interview with a fellow board certified neurologist, Dr David Perlmutter worth hearing. ruclips.net/video/r1dXGLyu1gM/видео.htmlsi=YFpN37oXdMUh2QRk. It can be reversed and Dr Bredeson is the only doctor I know who has researched it enough to tell us how.
God bless you. Using your very difficult circumstances to help others is so unselfish. Thank you!
You are amazing! Thank you for this video!❤
Thank you for being so forthright. I appreciate it especially because a dear long-term friend of mine was diagnosed around 10 years ago or so and chose to keep it secret from anyone other than her husband. We’d typically talk by phone once a week. After a while I noticed she wasn’t initiating calls but was always thrillled when I called. I noticed changes but tended to write them off for a while. When I finally did speak to another mutual friend about my concerns about her that person thought our friend was just depressed. But eventually her husband was advised by doctors to inform everyone. She’s now in an assisted living facility and doesn’t seem to connect or recognize me when I see her. I just so wish she would have shared the diagnosis years ago so I could have assured her of my care and willingness to stay by her side.
You are a brave and courageous woman. Thank you for using your pain to help others!
Was alchohol a contributing factor?
Wow, you are a very strong lady! Bravo to you and best wishes for a break through, and fast!!
My wife of 51 years has Alzheimer’s and we have it reasonably under control with exercise and puzzles and crosswords. Biggest issue is that I can’t leave her on her own as she gets frightened. We push on. ❤
My wife was afflicted with it, all I can say is no matter how deep the disease has moved , love is always recognized
a PET scan with a large amount of red is a good thing.... if there is a lot less red and more blue, yellow and green then that is indicative of Alzheimer's.
I wonder how she is doing now?
Alzheimer's is what my family looks like: first my grandmother, then her eldest son (my uncle), then her second born daughter, followed by her first, then her second to youngest daughter, all my aunts (3 of 7 daughters). They are all deceased and died in memory care facilities. Now, my Mom has it - I will do everything humanly possible to keep her in her own home as we both watched the dramatic decline of her siblings once they were moved from their familiar surroundings. I know this is not a feasible situation for everyone, but I am in a position where I can keep my Mom at home and am so grateful I am able to do so. She has three more younger siblings who are thus far unaffected. Will they be next? Will my sister or I be the next, or any of our first cousins? How many generations of our family will be affected by, or die from this terrible disease before there is a cure? And, I must say, God bless the courage and strength of our family members (and all others) who lived, or are living with, the devastating effects of Alzheimer's either as the person with it or as a caregiver. I am awed by your bravery.
I’m sorry to hear how it has taken such a toll on your family. I’m going to be praying for y’all to have strength and encouragement with all that you are dealing with. All the best to you and your family.
God bless you for watching your Mom. I am sorry for your many losses.
@@leert2698 Thank you so much for your kindness. I know things can, and probably will, get worse, but Mom, at 91, is strong and, outside of Alzheimer's, amazingly healthy. We are enjoying life together, doing as much as she is able to, have grown even closer than we were before and find laughter in every day. I am so blessed to have this time with her and to have the support of my husband who encourages me to do as much as I can for Mom.
@@colleenposadas8415 Dear Colleen, I appreciate your kindness and prayers so much. I was always very close to all my aunts and my grandmother watching them decline as they did was devastating. I pray that some day researchers find a cure for this terrible disease. At this point, my Mom has not declined as much as my other relatives, and given her advanced age, the doctors feel she may not. I hope this holds true. We are making the best of every day and I am truly honored and grateful to be able to be with her. Thank you again.
My mom just passed away in February from Alzheimer’s…she was 89. I think her dementia was in part caused from taking statins. Statins cross the blood brain barrier removing cholesterol from the brain. Our brains and body need cholesterol to function properly. Cholesterol doesn’t and has never caused heart disease, heart attacks or strokes. Let’s not forget about these medications that have caused a huge increase in dementia/Alzheimer’s since being pushed on people since the 80’s. My mom’s sister is 87 and her brother is 91…neither have dementia/Alzheimer’s and neither ever took a statin. Maybe it means nothing but it needs to be addressed. My mom’s dementia became ten times worse after she took those two Covid shots…way worse. She never took another shot of that poison. All her natural teeth fell out too…the root and all. There were other loved ones in the nursing facility she was at that said the same thing about the Covid shots and their love ones as well as physical therapists who saw the same thing happen to other residents. We need to quit be quiet about what the pharmaceutical industry has done to people as well as the medical industrial complex that allowed it. I know some can’t grasp it or will refuse to grasp it but the truth will always be the truth.
The amount of times we were dismissed when seeking an official diagnosis for my stepmom is sadly all too common. Her doctor said "she's not wandering" so didn't feel the need to even address it. I pushed for a referral to a neurologist who said does it really matter (umm, yes lady that is why I am here) We did get a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive impairment but even that we didn't really get what it may lead to. I pushed some more and finally we were connected with an amazing neurologist.
I don’t understand why money must be raised, why it isn’t already a priority to uncover a cause and cure. The economic impact alone justifies federal funding.
I've never been good at technology and we all have different abilities or not.
I am not going on with dementia, which may be the case-my vocabulary is falling away. There is no way my useless self is going to burden the one person I would become yet a burden to while he continues on and on with nobody to bolster and cry with while this curse slowly carries one Sorry, too much gloom. Another Tom

I find that even in my 70’s , I still can enjoy many of the simple things I enjoyed in elementary school and Jr high …… activities that involve an interaction with and appreciation of a natural environment ….. no mental gymnastics.

Glad she is still here and doing her blog. What a great lady.
Your courage telling your story is truly inspiring but so heartbreaking. The way you are putting your obvious skills to maximum use is amazing . I feel like you did at times, but I’m putting it done to menopause or natural aging or just the experience of recent retirement the use it or lose it syndrome 😊 but I’m not sure. I’m scared to be tested, I don’t think I could cope with the devastation of a diagnosis sadly we are not all gifted with the support network needed to get through this awful disease with dignity. I wish you all the best in the future.
If you’re seeing this, you are amazing! My mom had it. Terrible to watch it progress. Anybody reading this, start watching your diet.
All of our diseases are created in the lab. Starts at childhood 💉💉. The Rockefellers Fisher center for Alzheimer's disease 😮. Creating diseases for the depopulation agenda. There will never be a cure, ALL the research is 🐂💩.
I am worried my Mom has it. She is talking hateful to me and putting me down. Saying things that really hurt me. She hates if I clean house! Says she don't remember me ever being this clean. It hurts to see her this way.
@@SusanGray-p1p there’s tests she can take possibly even ones you can do.

Very well said and I am so glad you are who you are as you will be (and already are!) FIERCE in your quest for a cure!!! Namaste!❤
We see it with every video of Biden.
Wait, hold on. Who's the dude slurring his way through campaign rallies getting Biden and Obama confused? The guy who doesn't want to start WWII? Pretty sure that's, uh, not President Biden.
Trump is the poster child for dementia. It's only because he's always been such a moron that some people don't notice.
And Trump. Actually, he's more symptomatic.
FOOLS must politicice ‘everything’ , its satanic !! Damn all who politicize elementary problems of all humanity !! 😠😣😖😡
Don't think so. I have worked with Alzheimers patients and Trump definitely does not manifest any symptoms. Biden's symptoms of alzhiemers/dementia was obvious to multiple health care professionals when he was campaigning from his basement. Sorry your hatred of Trump is a symptom of cognitive dissonance and fake news.
I wish you well, your honesty is courageous
Hoping a cure will be available soon.
This man is a true hero. I'm from Turkey and I listened the podcast and not only that it was great, you could tell how much he cared and worked for it. Well done Chris!
