i played the N64 one of Rush 2049 for years before I found out about this one. u can see a lot of similarities between them. the variable difficulty is quite an achievement for the time & it does add some strategy to the game. I'd have loved to find one of these racers in an arcade but it's nice enough having N64 versions.

Winning run starts at 12:24. Nice run! I'm glad to have stumbled onto this channel. Makes me want to play Rush 2 again, but I'd have to dig out my N64 or I'll be stuck with the emulated version. Also at 13:30, I think the left route is very slightly faster? You have to take the jump leftwards to the rooftops instead of a straight jump, so it's kind of tricky. It's been a while since I last ran through the track.
