@SoleAdventuresNZ my coast off Rakaia has been getting smashed by big southerlies recently. Waves washing up over the gravel beach into farmers paddocks! Makes finding driftwood for a fire at night harder than it should be🙄. I've been having an explore around Banks peninsular recently and I'm going to do a wharf fishing series after winter. It's slim pickings here for fish in the winter.

Thank you for watching. I was using a little Hengjia spinner. Then the soft baits used were Lunker City - 2.75" Swimfish GOLD FLASH . And few other random 1s. Not too sure jig head sizes all the gear was my mates apart from my rod. Hope this helps 🙏

@Vtroutlover367 people usually wrap 4-5 leaves with coconut cream an onion or can use coconut cream an lamb in them. Lot of different ways to use them. Or corn beef
