The murder of the Tsar's family and servants was much more accurately portrayed in the Russian film "The Romanovs: An Imperial Family" released internationally in 2002. But even in this extensively researched and lavishly produced film the ghastly procedure was greatly excised in its violence and the length of time it took. This was perhaps necessary as any portrayal of the execution exactly as it happened would be unwatchable. The entire film is currently posted on RUclips in 13 parts.
After this the revolution's leaders began fighting among themselves. Eventually Stalin became supreme leader by killing off all the others except Lenin who died of natural causes.
