It’s funny that robins are thought to be a Christmas bird even though they like to appear in our gardens all year round.
This is the process of printing a drypoint etching, a form of intaglio printmaking. After the plate (for this print I used acetate) is etched into with a scribe, the ink is worked into the lines and printed using a press. It is possible to print a drypoint etching without a press and I will do a separate video on that.
