Thank u❤ well presented
Good info
Thank you! This was a great lecture.
Black Americans don't have that or do they and if so are cells are different?
Amazing video
Amazing I'm from Miami FL and their use to be alot of them down but because of all this building their very few but they are my favorite spider from the day I first encountered them
श्रेष्ठ वीडियो धन्यवाद श्री
Very sad that videos like this gets minimal views while awkward videos get million of views.
The lecture is stunning. I can't believe it has less then 1k views
Can you tell me where we can get our mitochondria sequenced? Thank you 🙏
For those who are suffering from Mitochondria issues and want to be tested for it you can find information on how to do that from the United Mitochondria Disease Foundation aka UMDF. They have support groups and list of doctors and may even offer some genetic testing.

interesting
so IS there a kindness gene i was looking that up earlier how funny i came across this
Great video! Thank you Dr. Falk! I was wondering if you could have a lecture focused on mitochondrial transplantation and would love to hear your opinion. Once again, thank you!
I feel like a lot of us came from a class and we just acting like we know what they talking about
Maybe I'm missing something but I thought the endosymbiosis was between methanogens and a-proteobacteria?
@@uploads2051 To clarify, I meant that, since the archezoan hypothesis has been discredited, I assumed that an archeal methanogen host was the most probable solution. However, thank you for your explanation on purpule sulfur bacteria- it was very helpful.
Good Informative session
Very nice session thank you
Nice video
Beautiful video of practical procedures of bioinformatics
Interesting.
Thank you for the video and information.
Very good video of introduction to bioinformatics

Could a nano-machine ligand be be made to bring ParkinPink1 to the mitochondria autophagy receptor on the membrane of the mutant mitochondria? Talk to Dr. David Lee at San Diego Medical University Hospital. Koga says Hi.
Thank you so much. PlasmoDB is such an effective genomics resource
thx
Very insightful video! Data skills will become even more so important in the future, as sequencing becomes cheaper and penetrates in all life sciences! Every biomedical researcher should get some basic knowledge in this, to efficiently communicate with bioinformaticians!
Hey. Is bioinformatics only limited to genes, etc. or can i also apply it to environmental science?
You could use it! At least that's what I deduct from reading 'what is environmental science' on WikiPedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Environmental_science). You could sequence for instance the transcriptome of bees now, and compare within 10 years to check global warming effects or something. Environmental science is an interdisciplinary academic field that integrates physical, biological and information sciences (including ecology, biology, physics, chemistry, plant science, zoology, mineralogy, oceanography, limnology, soil science, geology and physical geography (geodesy), and atmospheric science) to the study of the environment, and the solution of environmental problems.
