I met John Prine as an old man at the bus stop. We only had a few minutes before the it arrived and he departed. John played a few songs before the door opened and then permanently closed. I was so late to the stop. I hope this is not a trend in my life. I keep going to the same stop on my way to the Fifth Peg but, he has yet to appear. Makes me wants to a smoke a cigarette that’s nine miles long?.. lol
