Little piglet boars arrived, and they're having fun!
Early arrivals of the new wild boar in the Waldau park in Bonn Germany. We usually expect them in March, but this litter has come earlier than normal. The other gilts (mothers) are somewhere else in the park. These boars are looked after within a fence, but there are plenty of truly wild boars roaming around in the forest here.

The VFR 800 PAIR valve is making an annoying flapping noise so I decided to disable it and take it out of the equation. I did the flapper mod too and take the bike out for a test in Germany. Hi! The JVC HR-S7500E S-VHS was a NiCam-enabled video recorder that gained good reports in the mid 90s. I used it for video editing on a budget, storing high quality 4hr audio recordings of LPs, recording graphics from a Commodore Amiga and for high quality playback. S-VHS included higher resolution and "Hi-Fi" recording.

That is a very impressive RC30!! Absolutely Beautiful machine. To this day one of the most beautiful bikes ever. Honda made a huge mistake in not continuing the RC30, RC45 line of bikes. Thanks for the video 👍

A timing light haven’t seen one of those in ages
I haven't done any auto mechanics since timing lights were the only option. What do mechanics use now?
Oh my god! I've been looking for a video for weeks that will explain why my vfr is making that popping noise! I've watched some videos about taking out the flapper, snorkel and pair valve but no one has linked the noise to the pair. Great, I'm so glad you covered this in this much detail at the start. You've saved me a lot of headaches as I'm not super technically minded but also don't have a lot of spare cash for a professional to take a look at it. You've earned a sub!
I had the same frustration but I do worry that nobody else had this problem...which means we both have a faulty Pair valve? Keep me posted if you find anything else out.
@@meetmobility so far so good. I didn't remove pair completely, just disconnected electrics which powered it as shown in another video (think it was kevs shed) and everything is so much smoother. I've not noticed and issues with higher revs / vtec kicking in.
@@tomboyle4312 Good news. I love the VFR but it is terrible at going slowly without these mods.

Rip out all "Pair system" & fit block off plates for reed valve tops or blank inlets off, it'll run better, junk vacuum flapper valve, screw down flapper plate ... don't remove snorkel, it'll do nothing only make more intake roar ... job done.👌
I put the snorkel back in, yeah. It's been great this year.

30-60kmh was somewhat jumpy. All of that has gone making the bike way easier in towns.
Are you sure is hasn't affected your 8k to red line pull..?
That's something I can't really check. I've probably done that about 3 times in the last 4 months! Sorry Dave.

@@cooleyballs1 I don't do this much either, but, for the sake of complete understanding, do these mods improve bottom end at the cost of top end then? Is there anything else I should know about doing this from your perspective? Cheers
@@tomboyle4312 if you don't block that pipe like I didn't do I believe it screws with the top end pull.. Did you block pipe.. And have you noticed any top end pull.. Mine wouldn't rev out fully so you'll notice it easy enough.

@@meetmobility Yes, but I had a doctor's certificate saying that I can't wear a mask for medical reasons, and they accepted it and wished me a nice day.
When I was stationed in Germany in the 1980’s, some of my German friends invited me to a dinner a a Jäger Spezialität type of restaurant . On the menu was Spanferkel or Sucking Pigs , On The skewer . As a Hawaiian , I accepted that as a close cultural acceptance from the German people . I had a wonderful experience in Germany . Lovely people .

@@meetmobility Bavarian Spezialität is my favorite provincial European food . I don’t want to say it’s underrated. Misunderstood would be a better definition. It’s not an exportable cuisine because it’s based on the local available livestock. Most foreigners think Bavarian Spezialitäten are sausages and pretzels. You must fly to München and experience it first hand .
