Are the curves on that layout R3 or R5?
I like the idea of battery powered trains, especially for a garden railroad. Specifically for the reason you mentioned, I don't need to always be cleaning the rails for good electrical contacts. When I was younger my favorite train set was a battery operated radio controlled G scale train made by EZ-Tec.
Is this 1:29th scale? Why does it come with LGB couplers?
It comes with USA Trains couplers.

@sunnysiderails397 they only do installations like this at the time. You'd have to bring and existing locomotive into the shop and get it fitted with the blunami.
Oh gotcha, ok that makes sense. Well I did just get the Piko 25 ton Switcher in the mail and that's got the a small controller and RC style stuff running it I think, I'll test it out soon. Thanks for the info. -Ken@@blue_ridge_models
Hand held cams sucks
How similar or different is bluenami to Bluerail? I tried out Bluerail on a couple of my locomotives, but switched to Railpro because of the ease of consisting. The passenger train I run at shows has to have a locomotive on each end (for prototype accuracy reasons) and it's a lot easier to consist with Railpro than the traditional way of speed matching which is what Bluerail uses. I haven't put batteries in my locos yet though, but I will probably convert them to track/battery without a battery car trailing behind the locomotives.
Honestly don't know. It should be similar though.

I like how the front plow is fixed to the frame rather than moving with the truck assembly like how it is on so many other large scale model trains

While I am not into modeling I do appreciate a good quality products and I must say they do look good. There's always time to really weather them for leasing companies and demote them to Coke or Garbage Service
