Thanks. I'll check it out
I would have been more impressed if you upscaled a 360p video as there are so many on RUclips. 750p and up is not a problem for most of us

So useful!!! thanks a lot
Thanks for sharing our tool Lyndon!
good
thanks a lot; thus the can also be done with script, right?
Yes. You can replace with something else but you can't add them back in without scripting
Thanks a lot! This will save me a lot of time😮
I have just published a video on how to do this for copying PDF to Google Docs. I hope it helps. ruclips.net/video/wxykV7QULkI/видео.html
Thank you for such helpful video! Is there another way that will work for google docs as this method unfortunately doesn't work there
How's this for good service :) I don't normally turn around requests so quickly but it's a great video idea and the PDF to Word video is very popular. Copying PDF to Google Docs - Removing extra line breaks ruclips.net/video/wxykV7QULkI/видео.html
Hi, pretty cool video, straight to the point! I do have an M1 Pro 16gb ram 1tb of storage. It is still serving me well I’d say. I can prob wait until the m5… but I’ll be going for the 14 inch model when the time comes , 16inch is good , good thermals , but quite a brick though! In terms of these data science apps that have issues with M1, what are these ? I haven’t heard about it so far
I love when I get a machine that is powerful and robust enough to last a while. I saw a few posts about Python (www.reddit.com/r/MachineLearning/comments/prxpvy/d_current_situation_about_m1_support_of_python/) and maybe also R having issues with ARM compatibility in the early days. These days it's more likely older niche applications that aren't well supported (eg. www.reddit.com/r/datascience/comments/xdsd7t/sick_of_m1_chip/)
That was a useful summary, thanks!
Thanks. Be sure to check out my updates for v1.4 ruclips.net/video/z4813fLJzAU/видео.html and v1.5 ruclips.net/video/tGSgf4E7p7E/видео.html
Hello Dr Lyndon Walker, how are you? My name is Guilherme and I am a Biological Sciences student at the State University of Ceará, Brazil. I am contacting you because I am unable to export my documents from Google Scholar to R. I was able to export them from Google Scholar, but I don't know how to transfer them to my computer. My goal is to use these documents to remove duplicates from other files that I have downloaded from other databases such as Scopus and WOS, for later scientometric analysis. So, how do I export my documents from Google Scholar to R in order to remove duplicates along with other databases? Could you send me the script?
R does not seem like the right tool for this. Most reference managers should have that function
What a voice though. This was like ASMR for me 😊
As AI progesses and gets better at writing eventually everything will flag as AI. What then?
I write books. Says im using ai when im not. Total bs. I think this is just a power move by them. Ive put the same text in on different days some days says 0% some days says 90%. Why does it change?
It changes because it is a probabilistic calculation. 0 vs 90 is weird though unless it is a small piece of text (although different detectors are more and less rigorous).
Thank you for this guide
Thanks for the great video, Lyndon! It's very important to be aware of this when analyzing your data.
hey do you use any specific plugin? for data analysis like noteable or any other? and wanna know one thing, How to connect oracel db to chatgpt
Everything I demo here is built in. For a database, it will depend on your infrastructure. You could try something like powerdrill that can connect to databases or use the chatgpt api within your own system.
@@DrLyndonWalker Thankyou sir.
I am Data Analyst, and I am planing to buy m3 Air 16gb,1TB I mostly use these tools dbT,VisualStudio,Tableau other analytical tools? Now I am confused between Pro and Air. If I go to Pro than I can afford only Pro 8gb,512 SSD. What you think?
How urgently do you need it? With the recent talk of an M4, I would be tempted to wait and see those specs or see if the M3 price drops.
@@DrLyndonWalker The problem is that currently I am using Laptop borrowed from someone, now want to owe my own. So I can say I am in hurry What you think if price goes little bit down than its not a problem.
@@zafarullah4540 8gb ram is probably the limiting factor in the two systems you quote. If those were the only 2 I would probably go the 16gb system.
Neat indeed!
I can't run a simple "Hello World" It just says source("c:\path_to_rscript"). I thought by default it comes with all tools for R?
Positron is an IDE so you will need to install R separately (as you would for RStudio too). Also, R is a statistical language so you wouldn't normally start with Hello World You can check out my free getting started with R at drlyndonwalker.com/r-in-an-hour
As per your answer of question #1,the bat's cost will be (.05+1.00)=1.05 $, besides both coast's 1.10$,do whether bat cost's1.05 $ more than 1.0 $,against ball cost derived as 0.05 $.
Hello, I subscribed on their platform but found out it’s hard to get it work right for data preprocessing and it’s so prone to errors. Maybe only good for simple datasets?
Thank you very much. This is useful!😊
Thanks Dr Lyndon Walker
Thank you... very much.. It helps me learned the basics...
fact that github copilot is not supported is a major drawback.
Absolutely, although given it's already part of RStudio, I suspect it will get added soon.
try codeium
Thank you sir
useful!

Dr Lyndon expert of R software can you help me by giving R software of mixed effect ordinal logistic regression?
I am currently working with those models and plan to do a video about them at some stage in the future.
@@DrLyndonWalker am waiting you my dear please help me am doing thesis on mixed effect ordinal logistic regression.
Great video, Have you got the free data set handy?
The AIS dataset I use is available from www.statsci.org/data/oz/ais.html
I find it amusing how they can formulate seemingly accurate statistics regarding false positives, yet they can't ever provide evidence of using AI generative programmes to begin with 😂
Thank you this was very helpful, how do your relocate multiple variables at one time?
i used ai only for research and that research was wrong so my essay is flagged ai but i did lie that i used ai because i was scared now i am going through a meeting and i am scared
Thanks dude
this is going to seriously save me hours and hours at work. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS 🙌🏼🙌🏼

@@DrLyndonWalker okay thank you so much!
Thank you. This just saved me hours
Quite amazing
Please help me. I really know there are many differences between the tetrachoric and the pearson correlation, but I can't write in Rstudio. Actually, I don't know how to programming. Can you give some examples about programming about multiple choices in education reasearch?? Thanks a lot!
I am an AI researcher currently, working in the education space. I wonder if we're going about this all wrong in terms of AI detection. Current research has shown that AI detection is about as good as a coin flip, especially with generated text. And, students are learning ways to prompt the AI to sound more like them, given a few examples of their own writing as part of the prompt. What if AI detection worked more to augment a student's understanding? For example, if the system thinks that AI-generated text was used, or maybe a student pastes an answer into a text box, could we ask for clarification of an answer? Maybe alert the teacher that AI is being used to help understand if a given student might need more help? Another commenter pointed out explaining things in class to help with cheating. I've heard of that being used quite a lot by local instructors in my area. Just wondering what additional help we could add to make teachers lives a bit easier and lessen the stress on students.
You are incorrect with your "coin flip" accuracy statement. Some are up to 99% accurate but for a large pool of students this still creates problems with too many false positives. I don't think AI detection will ever be the answer. Instructors should be designing assessments that demonstrate proof of work (eg. drafts, recording, process etc.) and tasks that are hard to be done well by an AI (or better yet, also including AI use then demonstrating the need for humans in the process)
Thank you for the video. I found it very helpful!
