Thanks! This helped. I have everything new on the front end including the gear box. The rebuilt box even needed adjustment. If you go too far, the steering is way too tight.

They plastic is bound to break. I drilled holes and used zipties to remount mine.

idk if it helps , most of the hubs have a way to get the ARGB sync with motherboard , most of them need to hold the button for 3-5 sec and then hold it again or something . you can read manual

How much clearance between the inside of the rear hub / lugs and any possible interference with any brake components ?

I change my motor oil with Mobil 1 0w40 every 6 to 8 thousand miles, transmission fluid and filter every 30 to 40 thousand miles, don't forget to replace the transmission adapter plug, it's a $10-15 dollar part. If this part leaks, it can ruin your transmission computer as oil can leak up into the unit. I change my engine coolant every three to four years.

I'm sorry that job was done quite a while back. Now I'm getting old and senile and can't remember much, :-) I wish you good luck with your project.

You can get another 14mm bolt. There are usually two variants of thread pitch. If you can't find the exact length, grind it down to size and put a slight chamfer on the thread end, and that should work fine. It's not a highly stressed bolt, so you won't need grade 8.

not sure if you’ll see this comment because it’s been years since you made this video, but i’m about to take on this same project. i’ve been getting a timing chain slap noise on start up that dies down to nothing once the car warms up and gets to op temp. been thinking it’s the chain tensioner but can’t guarantee it. i’m guessing the noise you heard in the video is similar to the noise i’m hearing now. this video has been a very helpful study guide for the upcoming project. there’s basically nothing out on youtube for this project, so thank you for sharing your experience. hopefully all gets fixed like yours did. car i’m working on is a 02’ E55.

Hello Paul i have same car e320 w210 benzin from 2001 i have a P0104 problem last week have a new maf sensor about the problem is come back have you a idee what the problem is?

Did you get the part number for the plenum support bolt at 1:02:09? It's a 14mm bolt I know that but I can't find a part number or what have you. Having vacuum leak so need to reinstall gasket, and I lost this bolt when I did them the first time.

Well I learned to remove my radiator hose before attempting this job. Maybe the fan too as its easy to pull up and out. The job does not look easy. So what did you need a new radiator? She must have a bad oil leak and a coolant leak as I didn't see any coolant gushing out. . I would gunk it all down before installing the new parts.

The torsion spring fell off and I cannot figure out which side of the control arm the spring is supposed to be on. The rod that passes through the bracket/ control arm has a preventer on one end, which I remember it's placement but I cannot find an image of the assembly (I almost saw it in your video). Springs can be hard to reassemle, even when you know where they go- which I don't. Any help would be appreciated. Parts diagrams are sketchy. Thanks.
