R.L. Stine had a non childrens/YA book from maybe 20 years ago that I really liked. I can't recall the title anymore. There is a vampire series I liked by Scott Phillips called "Pete: Drinker Of Blood." There are 5 books so far, still waiting on #6. I'll also look at whatever Bryan Smith has coming out. His stuff is just straight up horror, which I've sort of strayed from. But always with the understanding there is Stephen King and then there is everybody else, Bryan Smith is my favorite of everybody else.

Well I will give this a go for tomorrow's audiobook time. Sounds like a cute and fun time. Happy Werewolf winter, my friend! ❄

I miss wearing my horns , I absolutely love ❤your horns 😮 My horns curl . I don’t think I have read a werewolf book but I do enjoy a paranormal romance book. I should look into that. Sounds like a fun book and interesting with the idea of a werewolf in it . I would like to read maybe some children audiobooks, there’s plenty of free books out.

Purely by coincidence, my current read is "How To Help A Hungry Werewolf," by Charlotte Stein. It took me a while to warm up to this book. It's an OK story but I can't say I love her style. The dialogue is very Buffy-esque...lots of snark, snide, and sarcasm. I enjoy that stuff to a point, but this is Joss Whedon on steroids. I get the sense this author thinks she's a lot wittier than she actually is lol. There are also times it's not clear which character is speaking. It's entertaining though, at least enough for me to finish it.

This sounds like a fun read! I’ll have to add it to my list of possibilities for upcoming read-alouds. 😁 I’ve been watching The Vampire Diaries with one of my older kids and we’re in a werewolf/hybrid heavy season and I’m here for it! I’ll have to look through my shelves and kindle to see if any werewolf books are hiding in there. 🐺

I enjoyed this so much! I put it on the tv instead of the iPad and I’m so glad I did because the Christmas lights showed up really nice on the tv. I didn’t know you accepted Xmas cards. I would have loved sending you one. I sent a few this year to some of our DS Peeps. So many people hyped up that Hot Frosty movie that I ALMOST watched it. I’m glad I didn’t now. 😄 I loved how you ended the video with that package of books! OMG!!

I saw Crimson Peak at the theater. I recall liking it but details are fuzzy now. I'll have to revisit it at some point. I know about the life of "no internet." I've been living it for a couple of months now. But my phone service just renewed today so I've got my new data allotment, which will last maybe 4 days if used conservatively lol. But I'm looking forward to listening to some stuff tonight in the comfort of my own crib instead of coming up here to our building's game room to leech the free WiFi. Currently reading "Fang Fiction" by Kate Staymon-London. It's basically a vampire rom-com. Nothing world rocking but quirky and fun.

Love this! I’ve been enjoying the twisted tales when I can get my hands on em. Some are definitely darker than others while others are just a little twist and some extra scenes compared to the movies. Aladdin mostly added in background information and got dark at the end while Mulan’s tale was completely different but with familiar characters basically. Glad you enjoyed your first one!
