Bought for £10 this ARC (stick) welder was ready for the trash. With a quick clean-up, respray, grease and polish it's ready for a few more years of work.

This old, Record number one has worn out the spring retaining pin making it unusable... Let's fix that and put it back to work. These three inch, Engineers vices are really simple but fantastically useful and solidly built. Like, subscribe and follow along for more....

@@BobbyJoeDay it's honestly the only one I've ever looked at internally, I've now added a new switch and I'm looking to have the decals made 😃
Glad you liked it, I've yet to find a better made vice than Record... I use quite a few at work so maybe I'll see about getting another 🤔
