I bought this soundtrack after "finishing" the game and listened to it on repeat hundreds of times. Years and years later after picking up various techniques for solving other puzzles I had learned the method of reading spectrographic images in Audacity. The first time I dragged Fez's song files over and saw what appeared it gave me goosebumps. This game had that special kind of thrill that sticks with you.

Who ever would have thought in 1994 that this guy singing Buddy Holly would one day go on to develop one of the best indie video games with a banger of a soundtrack.

I love how this includes parts and instruments of all the other tracks that lead up to this moment

This song feels so nostalgic and heart-shattering at the same time. For some reason, it reminds me of the lyric "Are there any better words to express the full extent of my grief?" from TSSF's Four Years

I'm trying so hard not to cry right now this is just so beautiful

My brother was obsessed with this game, and made me watch him. I played it a little, too. Listening to this makes me think about the fun times we had with eachother.

It’s a huge, heaping shame that this game never got a sequel - even just a spiritual one. Hell, a level editor would’ve been beyond awesome on its own. Also, iirc, I don’t think the community ever discovered the intended method of unraveling the second half of the monolith puzzle. I think the developer even stated there were plenty of other secrets within the game that seemingly no one had found since he was last asked.

Change can seem a big and scary monster...but it's what makes us gain the strenght to love. It's what tears down our barriers to show us the beauty of the world... the depth of companionship. These OSTs are insanely heartmoving
