    What do you do if you want to stay for a week? I'm not flying 14+ hours to spend onky 2 days there.

    • @GenX_Travel
      @GenX_Travel 2 дня назад

      If you're going to Japan for a week, I highly recommend to take a day or two outside of Tokyo Disney Resort and visit areas in Tokyo. One day at each park, perhaps 2 days at each if you really like Disney is more than enough and Japan has so much more to offer. But it you really want to go only for Tokyo Disney, you can book TDR hotels up to 5 nights and you can make multiple reservations if you need to cover more days. You can purchase tickets separately. For vacation packages, you can also book multiple packages, but that could get costly.

    • @TheCelticgirl62
      @TheCelticgirl62 2 дня назад

      @GenX_Travel Thank you for responding! We have a tour of Japan through Gate 1 Travel we are interested in, so I'm looking at doing Tokyo Disney first, then move over to the Gate 1 hotel to start the tour of the country. Is it possible to book a package and add a few more days separately at the same hotel? It seems odd to limit everything to just 2 days.

    • @GenX_Travel
      @GenX_Travel 2 дня назад

      @@TheCelticgirl62 Oh, that sounds like a good plan! You can definitely book a package and then separately book reservations for additional days for before or after the package at the same hotel. Just know that the packages become available at least a month before individual hotel rooms become available so you will have to wait a month or so before you can book the rest of your trip. It can get tricky though, since some popular rooms can be difficult to book, so you might end up having to change rooms or even hotels during your stay. The good thing is that as long as you pick a hotel within the monorail loop, the hotel will forward your luggage to the next hotel. On our first trip we had 3 different rooms in a 4 nights stay at the same Ambassador hotel, but the hotel moved our luggage to our next rooms while we were at the parks, so there was no issue, other than we could not unpack all if we wanted to. On our second trip, we were at 2 different hotels (Disneyland and MiraCosta) some nights with VP and some nights without and again they were very accommodating with transferring our luggage.

    • @TheCelticgirl62
      @TheCelticgirl62 2 дня назад

      @GenX_Travel wonderful recommendations. I'm thinking it would be easier to book the hotel and do everything else à la carte. I'm sure it will be the only time I'd ever be there, so I don't mind paying for special passes, etc. I don't want to feel rushed if you know what I mean. Is park hopping a thing, or you buy tickets for one park only?

    • @GenX_Travel
      @GenX_Travel 2 дня назад

      @@TheCelticgirl62 Unfortunately they don't have park hopping at this time. You could purchase tickets for each park for the same day, but if it's your first time visiting, a full day at each park would be best. Have fun!

    Thanks for the video! I am traveling with a large family and want a package for July 1-3 (2 nights), but although the calendar lets you select July 1, it does not show results. Not even sold out. When I try other dates in May, it shows results and says package is applicable April - June 30. How will I know when the July 1 - ? dates will open? I don't want to miss the opportunity to book the hotel and restaurants of choice. Thanks for your help!

    • @GenX_Travel
      @GenX_Travel 3 дня назад

      I hear you! Their calendar dates keep rolling, but the vacation packages (VP) are not available until about 5 months in advance for the whole month. They used to announce ahead of time when the next month extension would be available for VPs, but they seem to have stopped doing so. Last announcement was for the release of April VPs on Nov 6th. The one prior was for the Oct 3rd release of March VPs. I noticed that the May VPs were released early Dec, but could not find an announcement for it. On the reservations page, if you look at where it says Information and click on List, you can see recent announcement news. Right now looks like they're setting for June VPs (a little late it seems), but the dates are not really available yet, but they should be available soon. I would say that the July VPs will come up at the beginning of Feb. So my recommendation would be to keep an eye staring on Feb 1st and check every day from there. Or keep an eye for announcements in case they start giving notice again. The previous packages have been released at 3 pm JST on the date they select usually a day in the first week of the month, so if you convert to your local time, that would be a good time to check. Success and enjoy Tokyo Disney!

      Yes, in your case you'll pick 2 for rooms, 5 for adults and 1 for children on the first step. It will ask you the age of the child and if you want the child to share a bed or have a separate bed. Once you select the room type, it will ask you how many adults on room 1 and how many adults on room 2, and also to select the room for the child (room 1 or room 2).

      No, tickets are not included with booking the hotel. The hotel is kind of a partner hotel, not an official USJ hotel. Hi, thank you very helfpul! Does the vacation package let you use premier access queue for all rides or can you only use it for the ones you select a slot for?

    • @GenX_Travel
      @GenX_Travel 9 дней назад

      You can only use premier access queue for the rides that you select on the vacation package. For other rides (not including Fantasy Springs rides) you will need to use the regular standby queue. When you enter the parks, you can also purchase priority access passes for individual rides for about $20 US each if they're available (they go fast some days). These only apply to popular rides that have priority access. There's also a 40th anniversary pass that is free that you can try to get for some rides once you enter the parks as well. The Fantasy Springs packages allow unlimited access to the FS rides Peter Pan, Rapunzel, and Frozen through the priority queue and Tinker Bell through the standby queue as well with the Magic passport. This will be over on 3/31/2025. I made an updated video about the new vacation packages after that date and the link is in the description. ruclips.net/video/uv-0MAH8jJo/видео.html

      @litacurran4348 The drink voucher is for unlimited drinks during the 2 days of the package at both parks. • @GenX_Travel
      @GenX_Travel Месяц назад

      Depending on what month you're going in 2025 the vacation packages will vary. These Fantasy Springs packages are good until March 2025 and you can book them already for any date up to March 2025. Tokyo Disney released new packages for April 2025 earlier this month and packages for May have not been announced yet. Looks like they're announcing them about 5 months in advance, so most likely packages for the month of May 2025 will be announced early December and so on. So, once you know what date you plan to visit, start looking at their website for packages. For the last release, they became available at 3pm Japan time, so you'll have to convert that to your local time.

    • @GenX_Travel
      @GenX_Travel 2 месяца назад

      Thanks for watching the video! When you book a VP, you will receive a folder at check-in with cardstock paper tickets and vouchers. They’re all printed on the same page(s) and you separate them by pulling them apart on the dotted lines. For the FS Magic pass, you will show the ticket at the entrance to FS and they will give you a wristband either at the entrance or at the first FS attraction you visit (depending on how busy the entrance is is my guess). To ride each FS attraction, you have to show both your ticket and the wristband at the priority entrance for each attraction. So save the ticket since you will reuse it throughout the day. There will be a separate ticket for the special unlimited attraction pass that you can use to ride attractions in both DL and DS parks via the priority access line. You will present that ticket at each attraction and reuse it at each attraction since it’s unlimited. Unless, they have changed the tickets, note that these are thicker paper tickets about the size of credit cards/business cards, so try to bring a pouch of some sort to keep them from getting damaged or wet since you will be using them often. The drinks ticket is unlimited as well and after 2 days of use they were looking pretty rough, but survived. :-)

      Hi! With this Fantasy Springs vacation package, the one day Fantasy Springs Magic pass is included and you can use it on the day specified (the day designated for DisneySea) since the area is inside the DisneySea park. The onsite hotels checkin time is 3 pm and checkout time is noon (12 pm). If you want to stay at the hotel longer, you can probably ask the hotel to see if they offer late checkout, but if you're just going to the park, you can leave your luggage at the hotel bell desk on your checkout day, go to the park, and then return to retrieve your luggage later on. They will absolutely do that! There are also coin lockers at the monorail stations that can fit large luggage if you rather do that. They're about 700-800 yen.

      Oh, you're right! That's too bad that they don't allow reservations for one person. But if you still want to visit that one, try going early for lunch when they first open or early dinner like 2-3 pm and hopefully the wait is not too long. They have another location more visible in Akihabara, so maybe this location doesn't get as crowded. If not, try Maidreamin or Maid Made, they both accept reservations for one person. Have fun in Japan!

      Aquariums are not liked by everyone. With that said, if you're referring to the coloring in the video, part of it was the lighting in the place. The day we visited, everything looked clean and well maintained. Thanks for watching!

    great vid and useful. question on the rides in fantasy spring, is there a normal standy queue and a DPA queue for each ride? i notice you can buy dpa for peter pan, frozen and rapunzel but there isnt a DPA for tinkerbell? my undersatnd is that the vacation package will allow you to use the DPA line but since there isnt one for tinkerbell, you will have to queue up like the rest of the crowd who gets a standby pass? also separately, wanted to ask if i cannot find a reservation slot at the fantasy springs restaurants, could i walk in? or simply its not available and i will have to dine elsewhere? thanks a lot!

      Yes, there is a standby queue and a priority (DPA) queue for each ride in Fantasy Springs, except for Tinker Bell, which only has a standby queue. The Fantasy Springs passport included in the Vacation Package allows you to ride Peter Pan, Rapunzel, and Frozen through the priority queue and Tinker Bell through the standby queue, but no worries since access to Fantasy Springs is restricted and the standby line for Tinker Bell was about 5-15 minutes at the most. If you're talking about the restaurant at the Fantasy Springs Hotel, I would say that your chances of dining there are very slim if you don't have a reservation or staying at the hotel since you cannot venture into the hotel unless you're staying there. But if you're talking about the restaurants in the Fantasy Springs area, no need to worry since those do not take reservations. The restaurants in the area are quick service and you can even use mobile order, which might be required at busy times. We were able to eat at 2 of the Fantasy Springs restaurants without problems. We didn't try to eat at the one in Frozen, only went in for drinks, but that one seemed to have a little more of a wait time.

    This was actually very helpful and resourceful 😮 thank you!!! Recommend watching ! Quick question My wife and I are planning on going to Tokyo Disney April 2025, so when they say “Fantasy Springs” they mean DisneySea correct ? Like if you buy a vacation package you get a ticket to Disneyland and Disney Sea “Fantasy springs! And thank you👌🏻😊

      @@Robles2891 Glad it was helpful! Yes, the Fantasy Springs Magic pass gives you access to DisneySea, so you’re getting a ticket to Disneyland and a ticket to DisneySea. The difference between the Fantasy Springs pass and a regular DisneySea ticket is that you get unlimited access to the Fantasy Springs area and the rides in the area. You can even leave the area and return. With a regular ticket to DisneySea you cannot enter the Fantasy Springs area at all for now, even though it’s inside the park, because it is so new and they’re limiting access to it. The only way to enter Fantasy Springs would be to get a standby (free) or premier (paid) pass once you’re inside DisneySea. Those passes run out fast, are for one ride only, you can only get one at a time, and once you leave Fantasy Springs you cannot re-enter.
