FSA: 8-1 glitchless speedrun [4:24]
Found another skip in glitchless, this time in 8-1. Here I skip Roc's feather (again) by interrupting horizontal line formation and using a just-right placed cloud.
This can save upwards of 30+ seconds over the previous route. But be warned, the positioning and timing of this skip is MUCH harder than any other skip so far without glitches! Other than pressing X four more times and upward jump slashing, I haven't yet found a setup to make this consistent.

Basically I copied the route in NaviLyn's current WR run in this room, except I found a non glitch way to cross the pit without the block house. This saves about 8 seconds over my current glitchless speedrun. Steps shown are as follows: 1. Position the Links in vertical formation just beneath the bomb 2. Another IL minute barrier broken in glitchless! The only realistically improvable section is the Dark Link battle, which is very RNG heavy and I don't mind losing a few seconds to it (before recording my best was actually 6:53) to show off the rest of the route!

Finally got my goal of sub 2:45, but it feels kind of anticlimactic, I had 3 deaths and some pretty sloppy sections. I'll try to improve this. Some more minor optimizations for Four Swords Adventures glitchless. Here are the notables: 1. Roll carrying the coconuts in the beginning 2. A 30 second improvement to my previous video. Most of it comes from: 1. In the Stalfos battle, kill the Wizzrobe first. This makes getting combos much easier. Also, it turns out the blue gems they drop for some reason are worth TWENTY-five, not five, so this strat is very RTA consistent to acquire enough gems to skip all 3 Gohmas right before Vaati. 2. Back when I was doing my glitchless runs of FSA, I had wondered if the key in the Gohma room could be skipped, but assumed it was either impossible, or not RTA viable.
