Happy Father's Day! Salvage Yard Run for 1970's Ford F250 Parts!
Many many years later gotta go Joe did go!😂😂 MAGA 2024! P.s Don't go from the gotta go Joe to the no votes hoe! Save America and vote Trump!
The video is great. A lot of great information. Did amybody else notice tho the gotta go Joe ass hat is always in a red machine? I was just curious if this eay on purpous from Deere? It is still a great safety video, But I laughed every time I seen the red combine when Joe messed up.
You can have all kinds of flashing lights, smv signs, but you have to watch out for other drivers who don't pay attention
I am almost certain the narrator voice is Hal Smith (Otis from Andy Griffith) but I can't find any confirmation via google. Anyone?
I’m a ih guy but i still like these old vids
Thats funny, with Joe in the white house ( Gotta go Joe) is appropriate....
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You found the one where Joe gets wrapped up in his combine belt! Nice. Thanks for posting.
Wow Bob Quinn in the 70s! I almost went to work for him
Saludos de nuevo MrGmfan disfruto mucho tus videos porque soy "de la vieja escuela" pero más aún este que se trata de una 7720... Yo creci en estás máquinas y hoy día cosechó mi maíz en Jalisco con una turbo 7720
should see if you can find the combine safety film that has gotta go joe
Should get that one online tomorrow!
9/6/24
I don't suppose you have John Deere's snowmobile safety video starring "The Unsafe Ace"?
That one is tough to find!
@@OpasJDGarage I just did! ruclips.net/video/JU8b9Z2T3EI/видео.html
As a 27 year old farmer, I wish they would make new videos like this for the new generation
I couldn't get my radio out.
Hello, you need the radio removal tool, check the comments or go to your local auto parts store or Amazon. All you need is the tool and it should come out.
My uncle actually lost his arm in a JD baler this way, accidents will happen in the blink of an impusle😅
Yup, my uncle lost an arm in a mixer back in the 50s. It changed his life forever in a matter of seconds.
In 2024 we now know that Joe was just one of us afflicted with ADHD😄
🤣🤣🤣
So many of these things are real obvious.
John deere did not invent the Roll Bar, Technically it was a safety idea presented to the engineer board for White/ Oliver tractors in 1968. Not long after, IH had developed something similar that John Deere copied🙄😂 Thats all deere has done is either copy or bought out.
I dont think ice ever seen a seatbelt in any 44 or 55 series deeres😂😂
4:28 Maybe another decade and Deere would have a passable cab, one nearly as good as one on an 8000 Allis😂
🤣🤣🤣 8000 AC is an awesome tractor all the way around!
Good 👍
Joe perfectly resembles me
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you so much ❤😊
first safety cabine have Zetor
Thanks for watching - I didn't know that
it's a gem
I always thought, an actual pictures and videos of real accidents and real injuries/bodies reach to peoples imagination and their brain much better and stay longer. Seems like this kind of cartoon like style of passing the information soften and lighten the problem too much.
Not may gotta go video so maybe, not sure.
Very nice video Thanks a lot for uploading vintage content🙏
Gotta go joes are the farmers that drive jcb fastracs!😂
🤣🤣🤣
I’m literally watching this in a JCB right now😂
@@jaydenijtsma1134 oh sorry😂 I know a farmer with one and a John Deere crawler
Can you post the JD 150th anniversary celebration video from I believe 1987? It was the first video on the John Deere Day VHS from that year.
Thanks, I’ll see what I can dig up!
It feels so weird hearing these people say the soundgaurd tractors are the safest vehicles out there, and that they have the latest technology, then you compared it to something like an 8rx or something like that.
When the video was made they were new at the time.
@jonathonrossebo1783 I know, it feels weird nowadays tho.
Greaat video i really enjoyed it 😅😉
John Deere's long time tradition for assuming credit for things they copied from Europe runs deep
🤣
Just like most manufacturers
😂 the one safety guy is real careful not
🤣
this is certified looney toons Hillbilly sht right here. nice to see big brands doing this instead of just trying to sell thr sht
🤣🤣
8:30 the funny thing is they eventually started adding a seat because they just weren't gonna stop people from riding along.
2:42 Welp, that part is never going back on. 😁
🤣
🤣yup, I have a collection!
The John Deere pto shaft looks like it is difficult to grease universal joints. I don't like the new style pto shafts where you have to pull back on a collar and push shaft onto tractor shaft at same time. On some pto shafts attached to the equipment they put a shield around the shaft in such a way it is very difficult to grease the universal joints no matter how much you twist and turn the shaft.
Back in school, industrial arts class, we watched another type of short movies, called Primitive pete
Mr. Whitaker!
I love these old safety videos!! They didn't mess around back in the day. Grandpa would probably scoff at the part of the kid wanting a ride since that was the best part of being on his farm. He had a piece of pipe clamped to the fender of the Oliver 77 and 88 we would hold on to while standing probably a 2' x 2' platform.
Not to mention, Deere started adding buddy seats in the cab not long after this.
I do like tractor safety vids, Leyland safety vid is good one too. As kid on the farm the deal was we could sit on the tractor in the shed but wasn't allow to start it, but dad show us all functions n how shut tractor. When operating machinery we weren't allow loose clothing, told be aware of our surroundings, stand out of way but where dad could see us, when tractor stop, engine turn off then approach area of tractor. Today i carry first aid kit, paperwork for tractor inspection as part of working as contractor.
Otis??
I remember John Deere Day l was 8 when this came out. I remember the 55 series video too. There was a promotional video of a corn planter that flew like an air plane. Maybe you posted it. Thanks for sharing
Me too, John Deere day was a big deal. I must be the same age. Mom would tease dad about being got a go joe.
Brings back memories!
Got to love the button up shirt and slacks….
We used to watch these in school. I believe there was one where Joe got caught up in the belt on his combine after removing the guard. Thanks for posting.
Jr. High Ag class, 1983.... 👍👍
Gotta love that straight-to-the-point language; "...we don't want to see you in a bed or in a box!"
A proposito... Que tu canal no se llamaba antes mrGMfan??🤔🤔
Yes it was!
I remember seeing this for the first time in 6th grade. Around 1990
I remember seeing these when my dad was a salesman for our local Deere dealer, when the 40 series tractors came out.
Love the magnums
