Lycopodium project managed the upgrade of a level crossing at Parkes in NSW. The project was completed for John Holland Rail as part of their Country Regional Network (CRN) contract. It was done without a possession (trains were still running, though obviously under reduced speed for safety) and completed over a weekend in 2020.
Due to the tight time frame and requirement to keep trains moving, the upgrade utilised an Edilon Sedra panel system which allowed the concrete structures to be produced offsite and dropped directly into the crossing.
