I couldn't wait for the Snyder Cut, and when we got it, I knew I had to make an edit of musical themes of Superman. So this suite is a musical journey of the fall of Superman. The moment Clark ended the future of his entire species, I can only imagine the pain zod had to go through. Having to witness complete genocide of his kind right Infront of him, the very thing he was created to protect was destroyed. Hence his entire purpose was destroyed by Clark.
And when a soldier has no more purpose left, all he can do is fight until death. Hence, the final duel between him and Clark, ending only when one or the other dies.
Just sounds like impending doom....until the end
