Thanks. I just did this job today. The only additional step i did was take the 2 torx bolts out holding the vertical pipe left after you remove the intake pipe. Then i could push it a couple of inches to the right to give me more space. I used a 27mm crows foot as in the UK they dont seem to have the removal tool you used. Took me about 90 minutes start to finish. Access is tight, but doable.

Super great thank you for this little lesson. Saved me hours of time and gives me piece of mind without the warning going off in error constant. Much gratitude.

Did you have any alignment issues when bolting the new one on.

And now try this on a MY 07 onwards. Here it won´t work due to the much stronger two piece bushing.

Found a better way just now 😮🎉1/4 13 mm 1/4 swivle universals driver 1/4-3/8 adapter and 6in extension attached to a ratchet dragging looks like a wrench very handy and versatile

I recently just changed a pair of these for my sister in law. You can get to those bolts from above if you have about 4 feet of extension bars and a 13mm socket that is half socket, half universal joint. Ive had them years and rarely use them but for this they were perfect. You only need to loosen the rear bolts a few turns to get the bracket out.

How do you check to see if the oil is good or bad???

Also Texas Saab up the road in Austin A clutch/engine overhaul mechanic dropped entire engine/tran/subframe all in one. Somehow he didn't put the sway bar's clamps in tightly now front left sprang open making excess clank noises. Wondering if it's worth 3 hours to eliminate noise

why did you want to replace them? Any change after you replaced them?
