@@LifeintheUPI loved the Keweenaw Houghtin/Hancock and Calumet. Love the small towns but still close enough to shopping.

Unless a heat wave hits tomorrow, we will have a white Christmas. Yesterday we did a video call with friends from The Netherlands. Remember Desi? She was in a few of my videos about 4 years back. We were outside recording and she noticed the snow and sounded a bit surprised. It was fun showing off the snow.

Angela, as soon as I clicked on that video, it only took a few seconds and I remembered it!!! I don't think I'm gonna attempt to make those kind of cookies though... It's much easier just to go to Walmart... of course you guys sitting around the kitchen baking cookies & making memories is what counts...🙂👍👏🏻🙏🏻

We went all the way to Battle Creek. It was a long day of driving.

The wind would have made it impossible. Peanut butter is a good choice. Almost every day when I was in high-school I would go home and make a batch of cookies. I grew up in a large family and my mom did in home day care, so the whole batch would get eaten by the next day. Often I would make my favorite chocolate chip cookies, but peanut butter was my second choice. Those were the days, when I could have as many cookies as I wanted.

Oh, and that was so cool! Three bald eagles in one day.

@leedanielson7452 The female is Daisy and I am not sure if they have settled on a name for the boy. I don't blame them for not wanting to eat an onion.

Now that I don't have any pigs, my new garbage disposals are the chickens... There is nothing the chickens won't eat!!!! Fruits, vegetables, bread, potato chips, any type of meat!!! Anything!🤣🤯

@leedanielson7452 I have never had chickens. Ernie, the goose won't eat any food that we have offered him. He didn't even like the special goose food. He will only take cracked corn from us.

Angela, I bet when the time comes your daughter won't be able to eat the cute little pet pigs!!! Especially if you name them and spend a lot of time with them, it will be difficult... and of course, the longer you keep them the more attached you become.... I personally did not eat any of my pigs. I won't even eat any of my chickens lol.

I believe you can house train a pig, especially the breed that my daughter is getting, but I wouldn't do it.

I was just talking to my nephew who would come visit us in the UP. He has so many fond memories of time spent in the UP. He was telling me how much he misses those visits here. I am hoping he will be able to come again sometime.

That is cold for FL. My son in TX told me it was in the 60's today. As he was telling me that, he felt he had to remind me that 60 was cold for TX. I don't know why he felt he needed to remind me that 60 is cold for TX. Ha! Stay warm.
