This drill is like a mexican on steroids!!
@@juannajera881 I don't know man I know some really strong Mexicans 🤣
How long does the battery last?
@@wanderingchopstick depends on size of battery but the 6.0xc can drill about 60 1/4" 2in holes before a recharge. Which is crazy for something so lightweight. I've since moved to the SDS version which is also M12. Way way way faster
Its on sale for $99 very good
Hello
Can you please explain how did you take out the round??
Can you please tell me how did you take off the casing out i have the same issue, I can’t take it apart to replace the locking block. Thank you
Ive been thinking about getting this for work cause 3rd floor people want pictures hung and tvs mounted to concrete walls. I have the rotary one with an 8.0 but that m12 is like the glock 26 of Milwaukee drills. Im just wondering how much you can do till the motor burns out?
We have 3 of these and abuse them all year. Have had the one in video for past 4 years. They just keep running . For smaller 3/16 and 5/32 holes for tapcons all day no problem.
@@rf20233 oh yea. Thanks. I'm definitely going to get that this weekend then. I'm tired of using the cordless non hammer Milwaukee joints to hit tap cons in these concrete walls. Lol.
If you want something in the m12 platform, for those purposes, the sds would be significantly better. But personally I'd much rather go with the m18 5/8 sds than the m12 5/8 sds. It's more powerful and you can have longer run time. Plus m18 batteries are cheaper per watt hour or whatever. M12 batteries are expensive and awkwardly shaped
Shame about the chuck, it's chuckolate. 😂
Thank you for the video. You sold me on it
Долбаеб, возьми перфоратор, матрасник тупорылый
Only 80s baby's really get it
por que no lo intentas con una piedra de rio
I have that exact same gen 2 m12 drill. Let me give you a piece of advice. Go buy their new 5ah high output battery. You will shyte yourself when you see how much more it can do. Mine can hang with full size drills....
They have a 6.0 now.
It might have 50 lb-in less torque than the new gen 3 but it has higher max RPM and much higher blows per minute for hammer drilling... So the newer is not always the better... 😊
Why do you only have 1 video?
Hi
Hi!!!
I would’ve nvr thought! Thanks
Я впечатлён!!! И сколько же стоит такое чудо?
The cost is withdrawl from Ukraine. Afterall we cannot get one to you with the trade embargo in effect.....
It’s a beast for the size. The gen 3 is even stronger.
How do you know what gen is??
@@masterfox3539 The 2504 is the gen 2, I believe. The Gen 3 model number is definitely 3404-20. You can tell right away because it has a red ring around the chuck.
@@DiligentDave1966 thanks damm I just bought the gen 2 😢
@@masterfox3539 Where did you buy it? The gen 3 combo is available with a free battery that is hackable at Home Depot right now.
And then 2 weeks later you'll be done ✔️
Is m12 12v or 18v?
M12
Please dont use it for concrete. It is drill in the end. Use rotary hammer for concrete.
Why? Looks like it worked fine for the smaller concrete/masonry application here and there
@@clone1137 It will break faster . If you have a lot of money or warranty on it - its fine)
Its a hammer drill dummy
@@evictioncarpentry2628 i know, but it is slow and will die fast!)
@@kpakaify Correct a few uses Is fine two holes per job but lots of holes per day in concrete needs rotary hammer.
If I got the 6Ah do you think it would handle getting through mortar fairly easy?
yes even with the 3 amp hour battery it'll rip through it like butter
Impressive. Would love to see drilling different grades of concrete, brick and stone masonry with the same size bit. Looks capable!
I agree, I’ve noticed drilling into different concretes is alot harder than others, quite annoying.
Maaaan! Just bought this tool. If it could handle 5/8” in concrete at all, that’s just ridiculous. I thought that I was somewhat impressed with the fuel 1/4” drive impact, but this thing is second only to the m12 fuel multitool.
Wait till you try the M12 3/8 Stubby impact wrench.
Are hammer drills for lag screws?
@@broodyyedda5621 hammer drills for concrete/mortar/brick Impacts for lags
Can drill concrete ceiling?
Wait till use the SDS Plus or Max!
That concrete seems to have no stone, it looks very light. Why don't you do a real concrete test?
To drill concrete I use a hammer SDS Hilti Or Milwaukee.
Let me know what you like me to test , I have the new cordless m12 sds that is Much Much faster than this. this was just to show demonstration for such a small drill. thanks for watching 👍
@@adamdavis2788 hey Adam for sure I'll get some bags of 5000 PSI mix and do a demo with various bits with the drill in this video the M12 SDS vs a corded Bosch bulldog ( tried and true for repeated drilling). Ill post on weekend . Thanks for watching
@@alejandroalvarez5259 no one asked lol
Love mine
Its hammer time🎵🎶daa-na-na-na-naa🎶🎵
Love my gen 2 m12 hammer drill I use this more than my 18 volt ones
M12 2504 Hammer drill very very strong and beautiful#Only Milwaukee ®👍
Have this drill, use it every day and I think it’s actually pretty trash. Never dropped it but occasionally the chuck gets very wobbly and noticed a majority of them have a terrible issue with the forward/reverse selector. Like mine lol
hey Ryan do you have the Gen one or gen two version of this drill, this one's been pretty good for us but if we're doing a lot of repetitive concrete drilling we just switch over to the M12 SDS as this one tends to get overheated quickly after 10 + quarter inch tapcon holes I feel it's great for tight spaces
Gen 2, I pretty much use this solely for drilling pilot holes in rafters, occasionally drilling small pilot holes into concrete or mortar for mounting pipe
@@rf20233 I mean it works great in hammer mode but I’ve noticed my bit tends not to be very sturdy in its chuck as well I find the handle is a bit too big for such a small drill. I mainly hate how fast it drains power and the forward reverse function slips very easily, doesn’t have good feedback, and yet it feels very sticky and hard to switch at the same time
@@Flockingtheherd I feel you , eats batteries quickly, I really dislike the belt clip on the m12 drill and impact not sure what they were thinking, not ergonomic at all
Fuckin gitten it!
That chuck looks like gen1? I got a gen2 and my chuck looks like the gen3 M18 one.
definitely a Gen 2 in this video I had a gen one before and this things much more powerful than that. this is the M12 line
Hey brother, do you think that wobble is much of an issue in your daily work?
no way I had a sprained wrist was hard to hold hold it. I use that thing day in and day out it's so small it's awesome to get into tight spaces . moved away from Makita tools to get into the m12 line used everyday wood concrete drywall things a monster.
Ralph Fernandes That’s awesome! The m12 fuel impact and driver are the first ever power tools I’ve bought. Really like the impact, haven’t used the drill much yet though.
When drilling concrete do you do it on Hammer mode ?
yes this is in hammer mode
