Thank you for the interesting video. A sample of one is too small to make any solid conclusions though. Quality control is about consistency over many samples from many batches.

Just do a hover test preferably in a location shielded from wind. That should give you a reference w/o having to make sure you fly exactly the same way each time and you don't need to do any flight modes or active track. You just want to know how one battery compares to another. Minimize the variables.
Testing a battery in a way that suggestively has less variables. But in fact is a way the drone will never actually be used. Dose not give more accurate results. This test methods allowed for a great deal of variables and gave very consistent times. If it wasn't very accurate, then it was very lucky. If a person that knows more ever for once has more than words to show. I'd be very happy to learn from their video. They could share their link.

@alansmith8435 long planned for christmas release. But with the mini 4 pro not meeting sales expectations. They have decided to hold back the mini 5 for much longer until they produce a truly better drone for the price. Main focus is a larger image sensor that's cheap enough to make their profit. Will be a 5 or 8K camera
It's been a full year now and my AFTER market batteries are still working 100% for me. If anything slightly better than my DJI ones. The biggest hate myth going around about this video. Was "THATS NOT A DJI BATTERY". "THEY WILL KNOW IN FLIGHT LOG, YOU USED AFTERMARKET BATTERYTHEY". "DJI WONT REPLACE YOUR DRONE WITH THEIR CARE PLAN IF YOU USE AFTERMARKET"........ Well here's your answer to the "Negative know it alls". YOU WERE WRONG L, AND I WAS RIGHT!!!!!! DJI Are incredible with customer satisfaction to us in Australia. And for $99 no questions asked. They gave me a BRAND NEW DRONE in only 6 days!!!! And that's including the time it took them to receive my damaged drone. Even better..... they give me a new battery. Even more better...... They said "you can go break your drone another 3x in your remaining time of your 2 year care plan and will will replace it again. No questions asked. So AWSOME DJI!!!! BIG THANKS!!!! And if you Aussies wanna save 33% on your drone batteries. Go aftermarket on AMAZON. And they may be evil, they may maker your drone explode, like 1 person said. But ...... There's 2 tests you haven't done. Will the After-Market batteries update like DJI's intelligent batteries and still work ? ... and will they last as long? Both of these have been a problem in the past :/
I've heard that a lot. But for me it's been 8 months now. Many updates and no issues. And after many charges and over 700kms of flights. I think the aftermarket batteries are getting the smallest bit of extra flight time average. But there is most likely a number of different aftermarket batteries. So the ones that are exactly the same for me. Might not be the ones you would purchase

Ant problems with errors when upgrading the battery firmware? How about if the aftermarket battery worked correctly with RID, or maybe this wasn't the plus battery?

Apparently with the new firmware update aftermarket batteries do not work on the drone. I am reluctant to buy an aftermarket battery
America I've heard that a lot. But I've had mine for many months now. Lots of updates and still working for me.

misconception, if you are travelling in a car at 25mph with a head wind of 10-15mph then you are facing a wind speed of 35-40mph
No misconception. Just you talking to yourself, with your own different idea. For starters the example said 25kms per hour not miles. 2nd it never said anything about driving in a head wind. 3rd it was kinda a joke and if you want to feel your smart also allow for how the wind would most likely deflect off of the windscreen to give you much more wind than what you'd feel if you were just standing there. P.S. your new word of the day to learn is Sarcasm

An awsome days fun with friends waterskiing. Maybe I had a little to much fun. Over happy and confident, I launched my drone in terrible conditions. So funny it still survived. i thought i'd make a video reminding others what not to do. And to learn "YOUR DRONES WIND LIMITS". And how to tell "how much is to much wind".
I baught a used Mini 4 Pro that came with 2 aftermarket batteries which worked great when I first started to fly it, but after the last firmware update it now says non DJI battery and wont take off. Are they now just paper weights or will I need to downgrade the firmware and never upgrade again.
I am afraid I ran into the same problem after updating.... 😡
My rule - never update your tech, until you exactly know all features of update 😵💫

No it's nothing to do with a mini 4, 3, or 2. It's just that different countries have different laws and markets. In Australia the they type of aftermarket batteries I've been buying have worked on my Mini 2, 3 and 4. Some people buy these batteries, then say they stop working after doing an update. So far in Australia no aftermarket battery or update has stopped the aftermarket batteries from working. Just your country and your type of aftermarket battery won't work for you : (

They test everything(including cars for fuel mileage), inside where there's no wind etc. They don't tedt them in reality situations with wind etc.

Nitpick: Rotating by 180° is NOT the same as flipping!

Nice flight/range test with your DJI Mini 3 Pro over the river. Nice view of the kayaker's. Nice views of the river. Nice view of the damn at just over 3350 meters. Very nice views of the river. RTH was the right way to return. Nice commentary with a nice audio track.

Wondering if you could test something for me. Not a dji ower yet but can you charge the battery while flying? Like say you had a second battery and you wired it to charge the onboard battery during flight would it work? Essentially, we wire them parallel. Adversly is th charge port for the battery accesible while battery is installed?
No, not likely. Even if you could set it up somehow. Just the extra weight would most likely stop the little drone from being able to fly.

Now I'll thank my 6 or so few new subscribers in moving on to my next video quickly. And I'll try and have another interesting video ready for you in 3 weeks. Big thanks again!!!! Next video I might try to do a "DRONE RANGE TEST 5+kms" out over the ocean, in a boat or something similar. You guys can enjoy the coastline views of the beaches and mangroves. And see if my drone makes it back to me or ends up in the ocean hahahaha
