I live at the foot of the Ozark Mountains in the River Valley in Western Arkansas. There is lots of history here, lots of doing things the old way. I like some of the old ways, and i think its important to share those things with others. Enjoy

always something on the homestead, stay safe out there
the Lord led me back to this lesson...I hope everything is good
Would love to know how you water and feed them, and how often
We actually put drip tape underneath our landscape fabric. We then use a tensiometer to measure moisture and when the need water we water. Also, when we fertilize we fertilize through the drip tape as well with liquid fertilizer. Hope this helps.
Love lemon pie. Thanks for the recipe and information where to purchase My T Fine.
LOVE THIS VIDEO I HAVE 5 THAT I RESTORED AND USE!!!! WOODEN HANDLES TOO.
We have been missing you. Hoping and praying all is well
@@joeyhardin1288 we are ok. Other more important things that take precedence over the Tube. I’ll make another video soon. Hope all is well over your way.
@@fitzpreacherfarm6826 Just got over "The Vid" for the 4th time but we're OK. Canning every day
🙋🏾♀️
There you guys are!! Hope all is well.God Bless.
@@rubyjackson5630 we are fine Ruby, hope you are well.
Looks like the same setup I'm using to solve the same problem. Strong steel U-posts at the corners with insulators and white plastic insulator posts at 8 foot intervals. I'm using 3 wires, one at 4 ft., one at 6 inches and the other in between. There's no AC near my garden, so I'm using a Cyclops Champ 12V fencer with 4 ground rods to energize it. Two 20 watt solar panels are used to keep the 100 amp hour marine battery charged. This stopped the problem cold. The Cyclops fencer outputs 5 joules which will deliver a nasty shock to anything that touches the fence. I dismantle the fence at the end of the growing season.
@@NCF8710 thanks for sharing. I wondered about a solar option. I’ll look into the Cyclops. Thanks again.
@@fitzpreacherfarm6826 You're welcome! If you decide to go with the Cyclops Champ (5 joules output), the recommended 100 amp hour deep cycle battery will need to be recharged every 7 - 10 days. Using solar panels, I have not had to recharge the battery yet this season. Good luck to you!
@@NCF8710 probably won’t do anything now because the growing season out in the field is about done here. But I’ll be looking at it next spring for sure.
That first egg is something to crow about 🐓 🍳 😆
Hi I have a 1450 chipper and I need to change a carburetor.. Any way you may make a video on that. Thank you.
@@ClaudioBasilici no I sold mine, didn’t use it much. Any carburetor change on any like engine should show you how.
Forget the music and tell what you are doing
@@walterpogue9683 oh well
Thank you for making this video, just got my rancher 455 back from a gas leak fix. When I went to use it the chain break was engaged. Used a 1/2 inch wrench with a big screw driver through the loop side of the wrench. Reset first try!
@@scottmcampbell65 glad it helped
Thank you for making this video and sharing it with us! I've replaced the chain before, but never had this much difficulty getting it back together. I fought for over 2 hours to get the clutch cover back on. Figuring that it was broken, I called all of the dealers and service centers near me for a replacement cover, and not finding any, I searched on-line for the cover and procedures for rebuilding one. This led me to your video. Ten minutes later, the cover was on and I was back up and running! Thank you!
@@PeterWilcox-u5l glad to help. I remember that that I went through the same thing. I about made a boat anchor out of it.
What kind of corn did you start with ..was regular corn dehydrated first...
@@lisawenzel2364 just bagged corn is what I use. No dehydration necessary
Just got one, It has a Blackwelder high lift, very heavy duty. Working to get it running, been sittin for a few years, since 2016 I like yours, it seems lighter and the web site says it's 42hp
Do you have Merritt sweet corn that I could buy some seeds.
No, we can’t get it anymore. If I had some I would sure share it with you.
Same here, been crossing the best ones, next year's F3 generation will be amazing.
I made this mistake too. This can be avoided by releasing the chain brake before removing the clutch cover I believe.
This a great video on the My-T-Fine, it sparked my memory of the past. Being a child 60+ years back, I wanted to know the Brand that mother used..I found it. ROYAL - had the Capsul I liked to stir in and watch it melt and blend into the filling as it was near its cooked stage..of course ROYAL is no longer.. Looking forward My-T-Fine
Yes, I remember as a child helping mom, I would Stir and add "the LITTLE BALL", however in this day and age, I can not find out what the Little Ball" contained ? Does anyone know what was in that Little Ball.. I did not see that in this Video.. also when the pie was finished and chilled ready to eat..The lemon filling was kinda Semi-transparent, however today when you go out to a resturant or buy a Lemon Pie, the Lemon filling is solid yellowish, not the golden semi-transpartent I remember as a child.. Jell-o has stopped some years back having the "Little Ball" that you would Stir in as the filling, when began to bubble and thicken.. - can someone shed some light on this.. From what I see in this video- the My-T-Fine filling looks a lot like what I remember from the early 60's..
I remember something about a little red ball but I’m not sure about it.
@@fitzpreacherfarm6826 I don't remember a red ball, seems there was one or two balls, and they were semi clear, would enjoy watching them blend into the filling as stirring, seemed it may have been kinda oil, maybe lemon oil.. and believe it was a Jell-o brand.. at 74 can't remember from 60+ years back.. however in recent years just can't find the same tasteing Lemon Meringue Pie at it was back then. So I am on the hunt.. Going to try My-Fine as it looks very close.. just wish I knew what happened to the little Ball and why it changed..
Thank you! I was swapping chains and this happened to me too. Cover wouldn't go back on straight and after looking at it I knew there was something wrong with the brake, and that looked like it didn't line up right, but it wouldn't turn. Was a little worried I was going to break something before watching your video, but you confirmed my suspicions, and your method was great. Can't wait to clean up a bunch of downed trees for my mother, and I've got you to thank!
Amen! Glad it helped you out.
Hello sir in the minute 7:56 i see a back wire with a conector, can you please tells me where that is connected ?
Sir, I am not sure. I sold the unit and it’s been several years ago. If I remember it went to some sort of safety switch. Sorry I couldn’t help further.
Oh gosh, tornados? Scary. Glen planted horseradish in his moms garden years ago. He spent the same amount of years trying to kill it. Lol. It is super obvious that the strawberries don’t like the tomatoes, wow. How did your well turn out? Your tater patch looks amazing. Take care you guys.
Well video coming soon. Raining again today! 😂
Those strawberries look great! We plant the Monday after the Derby, rained 4 out of 7 days so far, no garden work here. Going after some Red Ear (Shell Crackers) in the morning but will till part of the garden tomorrow and burn the limb pile from the winter for some bio-char. Plant tomatoes and green beans tomorrow afternoon, hopefully, thanks to God.
Everything is looking good. We are eagerly waiting for Harvest.
It’s coming, we hope. Lol
Howdy Preacher- I know the rain hampers things now but probably won’t be long and we’ll be praying for rain. Hope y’all have a great weekend. God bless
Yes I never believe any of the weather men but Ryan Hall , he is usually right on the money ! God Bless and stay safe!!
I do like Ryan and POW Ponder.
🤣 it was supposed to be clear and nicer today, yes rain hasn’t stopped!
Looks great! Nice set up!
That’s a great set up for your chickens! Birds look happy. Congrats on 1K 🙌
Thanks Annette.
He gave no instructions for the filling my box didn't say anything about adding eggs,
My boxes had directions on them.
I bought two boxes from Walmart in Flint Michigan. I think you can pay it from them online too.
Yep, you can get it about anywhere now. I made this video 4 years ago, it was scarce then. Thanks for watching
Good looking birds, good looking set-up. So wet here in Central Kentucky, can't get in the garden either.
Hopefully you’ll dry up soon! Thanks for the update!
Weather m9dification programs by the government. Look it up.
I'm from Nebraska, but I've lived Phoenix since 1987. I can't imagine what 8in in 3 days would do to us!
It’s not good wherever you are. It’s now 10” in less than a week.
That all fine, until the coyotes get a whiff, that’s when the feathers begin to fly…..
Lead poisoning has taken care of that.
What is the name of the company you bought it from?
Gryner Construction
Thanks, save me from funning a test, I,ll run it lite about 2 oz per gallon. I think we are going to start picking in a couple days. got our first 5 pounds of Asparagus picked today 5-1-24.
I ran 4oz per gallon. I used it on all vegetables last year and I was very pleased. Hope it works for you.
Have you used your Dr. Zimms on your Strawberries yet? Wanted to ask before i did a Test. Todd Brown
I did Todd. I think I had a fungus and lost a few. I sprayed Dr Zyhmes and seems to be better. I know it zapped the aphids.
Wow! I’m glad you missed the tornadoes. It’s snowing here this morning. 🥶
Howdy Preacher- wow! Y’all got some rain! We got less than 3/4” over here. Yeah, glad the nadors missed everyone. Hope y’all are doing well. God’s blessings to y’all
We had a nador close to Greenwood. It’s a swamp here now.
I had one on loan once and liked it. Ten years ago you could buy those new for under $400. I’ve wanted to build a drum type shelter.
I have the material to build one of those drum type, just haven’t had the time.

Are you talking about the seeds? May not hurt but I’ve never tried that. I get the pelletized seeds for carrots, easier to work with
Can never have enough water!
