Gnarly drive! Been exploring the canyon drives off PCH/HWY 1. Just did Tuna Canyon today in my Rover Sport. I like turns & fun drives, but this one was more of a motorcycle road. Rover was a little big, but was still fun. Would of loved taking my ZX-10R through these turns back when I used to ride!
Just did this road last night. Along with another 30 minutes of canyon carving. My brakes were cooked! Never experienced brake fade that bad before.

In the 1960's this was a two way road. In high school we would drive up to hike, drink beer and eat tuna fish samdwiches..
I usually go around 1-2am and have an absolute blast but I always make sure to stay safe and know my limits

ah the good old days! Please don't drive this road during the day! Stay up past 1 AM and hace fun with your high beams on❤

@@goatmouthjones90 indeed, esp. when it's dark, 😆 But it's safer for other folks who share the road if one refrains from driving it until after midnight. I don't know if they still do, but back in early 2000s the "Tour de Cali" Lance Armstrong wannabes used to bike up this road "THE WRONG WAY" and yelled obscene profanities at us to slow down. Couple of us NSXers almost smacked into a few of these guys when they emerged from a blind corner 🤦♂️🤷♂️😹 That's why it's best for all involved if we can keep this stuff done in the dark, if you're not into scenic drives, lol Oh, and if you're going to do this road again, and if you haven't looked into proper Preparations, look into the tires and brakes. I can't stress this enough. There were folks going off because their brakes faded.
