How would I describe Lugansky as a pianist ? I would have to say graceful, and very measured in his approach ( very controlled ). He plays beautifully and he can make the piano sing. All that's missing is a demonic flair. Trifonov has that in abundance, and Cziffra had it in his day. All in all a very nice recital though ! I could watch and listen to him play for hours, so that's my seal of approval.

The best rendition of Rachmaninoff piano concerto 2 is by Kyohei Sorita and conducted by Yutaka Sado. I have attended several concerts and watched and listened to several concert pianists on tv, all great pianists but none as good as Kyohei Sorita. More of him please. From the Philippines.

A detail on Ms Wang's right arm makes me laugh: ' *C.H* .' for Carnegie Hall (?)... 😉

The only reason this is any good is because Ms Wang takes this magic piano with her everywhere she goes. Without it, she can't play Chopsticks.

I helped my buddy practice this for his concerto performance at the conservatoire, by playing the orchestral score on a second piano during his rehearsal. I had so much fun.
