I just finished the cutting of this kit and love how the fabrics look layer out. I’m gonna try to start filming the sewing of it this weekend. I’m so excited. My daughter stole the pop rocks 😂

Thanks for sharing - my box was supposed to be to me yesterday but has suddenly taken a turn to visit the state - seems to happen more and more frequently! 😀 Love the Lella Boutique Old Glory fabric line, my favorite patriotic line. Well, man, I wish I would have gotten the finishing kit! I like everything but the little hangar - wish Kimberly would have put in thread vs. that. but maybe it's for the dish towel?
I love the fabric also. I’ve been wanting the suction handle for the ruler so I was pretty stoked to use it. I saw the finishing kits were sold out. I always try to get one when I can. The hanger is for the mini quilt. The dish towel is huge. I should have opened it on the video.
Could you share the additional fabric requirements? I missed the finishing kit and my box doesn’t come till Tuesday or Wednesday. Thanks!

Yes of course. Sorry about that. Background and borders need 2 and 1/2 yards Accent is 1/2 yard Binding is 3/4 yard Background is 3 and 7/8

Suggestion… if you are going to do RUclips videos, you need to film in landscape orientation and don’t have something playing in the background and definitely have better lighting.

Thank you for this! I wish they would select prints that didn't have text on them--those are so limiting for some of us 😅 The water pen would be used along a seam line for foundation paper piecing to loosen the paper and make it easier to remove without tearing/pulling the stitches. I had reappropriated a watercolor water pen for this purpose, but hopefully this one will leak a bit less!
