I’m not sure why but it could be a learning preference. My attention is held longer and I listen more efficiently with visuals (picture, words and sound). That may be what I was missing in my spiritual journey. Everyone learns differently. I serve at my church with praise and worship and although I LOVE IT…I know deep down I still have work on learning his book! Which is what I still struggle with and which is what I’m still alittle intimidated with due to lack of understanding.
@@FavorablyMILLIE no worries it’s a journey. Let me share something with you. I remember not long ago every time I would pick up the Bible I would fall asleep 🤣. I wanted to love it, and learn it I wanted to be closer to God. I prayed and told God all of this. There’s a scripture that says that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. He will also give you the desires of your heart according to his will. 💗

I really love these prayers. I like simplicity and understanding.
I always have had this awkwardness when it comes to prayer. Comparing and doubting if my words are correct. Can prayer be copied and memorized? I always had that question but was too embarrassed to ask? If the words aren’t mine but I believe in the prayer does it still count?
@@FavorablyMILLIE absolutely, When you think about it think about it like a conversation, just like this one we’re having. God loves you and he wants to hear from you. As you grow in your faith and in the word you will get better and better. God loves you and wants to spend time with you, no matter what you want to talk to him about. Hope this helps.
