A koha to Ngahina Marae (Ngati Tawhaki) of Tawera. The Piahana Hikoi ki Ruatoki (Ngahina Marae) on Saturday November 4th 2017 was a historic trip. The Piahana whanau descendants of his 3 children Reohau, Winiata and Katerina have agreed to give this recording of the Tawera (Ruatoki) group performance in 1966 as a koha to Ngahina Marae. We thank Moana Radio for their whakaaro rangitira in supporting this koha

99 year old kuia Awhina Hariata Ririnui cuts the 100th anniversary (centennial) cake for the Hahi Ratana at Hungahungatoroa Marae in Tauranga, November 8th 2018 We are especially touched with every event our kuia Awhina Hariata Ririnui attends. At 99 years of age, she keeps good health and loves to have people around her. We look forward to her 100th birthday next August
