Hi, are you guys still working on this?
very interesting... i admire how the circuit card is designed....Galley chiller 267 models
Thanks, i was looking for it....we want some adas disconnected whenever needed eg. LkA, LCA
Thx Nice analysis, Perhaps it would be more beneficial to publish the raw data you collected/used, otherwise it is just a speech, no other data scientist can verify/reproduce the results
Very 😎
Regards from a prior Honors Council president, '75

What a cool and creative project! Great presentation :)
Hi Sebastian, thats a great work. Could you please share your python codes as well, that will be greatly helpfull.
That's so cool!
feels like yesterday!
It sure does Maxwell! <3
but what about the evaluations? are you running a predefined code for that? and you basically evaluate each iteration down the tree, correct?
😝 pքɾօʍօʂʍ
This video is amazing! I'm looking for some information since I'm going to try and make a chess bot myself. Thank you for the detailed explanation, I'm going to say this again... This is amazing!
thanks bro regards from Syria
This is so funny 😂
This is genius. why does this have such a small amount of views!!
You are very talented and I strongly believe better thumbnails would make you gain more views. Now maybe you like making videos on youtube like this, but if you wanna grow, you gotta do something about the quality of the video. Make it more easy for beginners. Perhaps make some jokes here and there. Make your content more appealing to a larger audience. Now just nerds like us :)
But for real tho, I still love your content. I just want to help you. You don't have to listen to me if you don't want to. Be yourself :)
This is just a university that publishes discussions from its honors program lmao. The person is not trying to get into content creation, just getting their degree :)
Yo that's awesome! But you could really make good use of an editor.
I came here from laptop repairs
Thats actually a pretty good idea I would like to see that on the market
nice project
ohh this is very nice
Hey Samantha. Where can a manufacturer buy this template? Great presentation btw.
very epic
Very interesting project, thank you so much for sharing! I am curious, will your Excel template be able to work with different manufacturing analysis softwares? How would it change between different softwares?
This is a super cool project, thank you so much for sharing! I am curious, how has the implementation of similar sensors been handled in other companies? Has this been a struggle at May Mobility for a while?
Hi Everyone, I know this was a popular question, and I'm happy to say that my capstone project was accepted and published at the 2020 International Conference for Machine Learning, Computational Optimization, and Data Science! The full publication link is coming soon. In the meantime, here are the abstract and slides: (github.com/harryw1248/Pareto-Weighted-Sum-Tuning). Please check it out!
I'm in a team meeting and we are talking about your project and how relevant it is for current times. Really fascinating work! Kudos to you
Thanks so much for sharing your project, Joseph! I too learned something brand new about moment vs pinned connections, and that part of your competition is timed assembly--I hope the team is able to test what you learned next year, and you are able to stay in touch to hear how it goes!
Thanks so much for sharing your project! I can understand the value from your presentation, and that is confirmed by your fellow AERO students in the comments below who wish they would have had this in their AERO classes--great work! Looking forward to hearing how it continues to develop next year.
I really enjoyed learning about your work! I’ve found that I’m more risk averse than many people in my life, so it makes sense that a decision model would need to take that into account! Thanks for sharing Harry.
Thank you Rachel! Glad you enjoyed watching the video!
As someone who just about scraped by in Aero 315 last semester, I can say that this tool would have been very useful in demystifying FEA analysis of truss and frame structures. A useful concept and great execution!
Kail, thank you for saying this. From my experience, many students have problems transitioning from Aero 215 to Aero 315 (myself included). I think that, as you pointed out, this gap could be bridged by demystifying the solution to complex problems through a visual (less intimidating) approach.
A very interesting project addressing an important problem. Speaking from the position of someone who has been involved in medical devices research in the past, I was wondering if your team had plans to test your cooling device on human infants, and if you expect any trouble in obtaining the authorization to do so?
This is really cool! Do you have any other innovations that you are currently working on?
This is really cool! Are there any other changes you didn't mention that you would make looking back on everything? It looks like everything went really well!
This is really dope! Is there anything that you further wanted to explore with this project? Are you thinking of applying this to build an actual stock trading algorithm as highlighted in your scenario?
This is a very interesting project and I liked the stock market example. I am wondering though, what inspired you to pursue this topic/project?
Thanks Zackary. I previously worked on another project in the same research group and realized that Pareto Optimization could be used to find more suitable solutions in that project.
Great presentation Don! I am wondering if you plan to continue studying or working in this field upon graduation? This seems like an incredible field of work that could really impact the future. Best of luck to you whatever you decide to pursue!
Wow awesome project! What were some of the unexpected challenges that you ran into? Could you elaborate on this a little more?
Great work! Would you consider continuing being involved with this project? If you had more time, what would you like to add to your project?
I did focus on one of the final two needs I presented for my 450 project. I am not currently continuing with it but it is open for future GHDI students to take over. I definitely want to do more work in this field, but I won't be continuing with that particular project.
Awesome idea Melissa! Did you do any product testing with Sift? If so, what did you learn from the customers.
This looks great! Did you accomplish what you hoped for?
This was great! What inspired you to pursue this?
Thanks! I am hoping to pursue a career in the medical field and I love the intersection of technology and medicine!
Congratulations on your project, Kristin! You've done a great job all year, and you pivoted well at the end to find new ways to measure success. Your team will benefit for years to come, and I'm sure they will be glad to update you as an alumni next year.
Very cool project, and so relevant for new UM students! I think your classmates made some good points in the other comments (like making these suggestions to UM for Schedule Builder) so I won't repeat all of those here. So glad it was a good experience.
Thanks for sharing your presentation, Mohammed! The topic is really close to home for me, so I enjoyed seeing the work and I'm so glad you will stay connected to it. Congratulations!
I really enjoyed hearing about your project in detail, Nai'a! I especially enjoyed your discussion of the filters your team went through to identify the 2 projects that would go into ME 450. I also thought you provided a great discussion of why "trivial needs" are so important (even if not a good fit for a mechanical engineering design course). Great work!
