"Moonlight Serenade" is an American swing ballad composed by Glenn Miller with subsequent lyrics by Mitchell Parish. It was an immediate phenomenon when released in May 1939 as an instrumental arrangement, though it had been adopted and performed as Miller's signature tune as early as 1938, even before it had been given the name "Moonlight Serenade". In 1991, Miller's recording of "Moonlight Serenade" was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Paul McCartney of the (BEATLES) wrote the song when he was 16. When he moved into the London home of his then-girlfriend Jane Asher in 1963, sharing a room with her brother Peter Asher, who asked McCartney if he could use the song after he and Gordon Waller had signed a recording contract as Peter and Gordon. McCartney described John Lennon's reaction to the song: "The funny first line always used to please John. 'Please lock me away -' 'Yes, okay.' End of song." Lennon said of the song that "I think that was resurrected from the past. ... I think he had that whole song before the Beatles. ... That has the line 'Please lock me away' that we always used to crack up at." McCartney did not think the song was good enough for the Beatles. As such, the song was never released by the Beatles, and the only known recording of the song by any member of the Beatles is the original demo of the song performed by McCartney, which is now in the possession of Peter Asher. In January 2013, Paul McCartney's demo was posted to RUclips non-primary source needed, the clip was played at Asher's most recent string of concerts.

"For the Good Times" is a song written by Kris Kristofferson, first recorded by singer Bill Nash in 1968 before appearing on Kristofferson's own debut album in April 1970. After a recording by Ray Price became a #1 hit single in June of that year, the song established Kristofferson as one of country and popular music's top songwriters while giving Price his first chart-topping country and western song in 11 years. "For the Good Times" continued to be recorded by a number of artists in subsequent years, to popular success. It became a staple of soul singer Al Green's concert repertoire in the 1970s, also featuring as a studio recording on his 1972 album I'm Still in Love with You. A version by Perry Como spent 27 weeks on the UK Singles Chart peaking at #7 in August 1973.

My wife and I have travelled to almost all of the countries in Europe, Asia, U.S.A. and Canada. The Caribbean and Mexican Riviera was also awesome. I have been to all parts of the Philippines due to my work with Unilever Brothers in 1966 - 1976. I was the Media Officer for the company, checking all our media placements all over the country. "Around the World" is the theme tune from the 1956 movie Around the World in 80 Days. In the film, only an instrumental version of the song appeared, although the vocal version has become the better known one. The song was written by Harold Adamson and Victor Young; Young died in 1956, several weeks after the film's release, and he received the Academy Award for Best Music, Scoring of a Dramatic or Comedy Picture posthumously. Young's orchestral version was a #13 hit on the Billboard charts in 1957. The recording by Bing Crosby was the B-side of the Victor Young version in 1957, on Festival SP45-1274 in Australia, and was a joint charting success.

“FROM HERE TO ETERNITY” FRANK SINATRA - LYSANDER MOMBAY HAVE YOU EXPERIENCE THAT YOUR GIRLFRIEND HAS LEFT YOU IN THE PAST? I DID BECAUSE THE MOTHER SAID THAT I CAME FROM A FAMILY OF MEN THAT PLAYED THE FIELD TOO MUCH. WELL I WOULD SAY SHE WAS WRONG BECAUSE I AM A CHRISTIAN AND I BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE THAT TEACHES US THAT NO MAN SHALL SEPARATE WHAT GOD HATH JOINED. The loss of a significant romantic relationship can be a difficult and painful experience. Some common reactions after a girlfriend or partner leaves may include feelings of sadness, grief, anger, loneliness, and a sense of loss. It's important to allow yourself to fully experience and process those emotions, rather than trying to immediately suppress or ignore them.

I was grade 6 at Central Philippine University when this song became popular. My family left me in La Paz, Iloilo City with my grandma who owns a dressmaking school across “Wong Mong Long”. I have to finish High school otherwise I am going to repeat grade 6 in Manila. My dad was prompted as the 1st Filipino chief of U.S.I.S.in Iloilo and was asked to continue working with the United States Embassy in Manila. My dad and Paulo Dizon started ‘FREE PRESS” as far as I can remember. I cry every time I hear this song because as Don Julio was leaving the Harbor, I was bidding farewell to my family.

This song is about a couple who have come back together after a break in their relationship. It's an emotional moment, as Diamond sings about recalling the feeling when they danced until morning - a feeling he still gets on certain September mornings. They've grown apart, but not so far that they can't remember the good times - or so he hopes. Diamond wrote this song with the French composer Gilbert Bécaud. The pair worked together again on The Jazz Singer soundtrack.

"That's all" is a 1952 song written by Alan Brandt with music by Bob Haymes. It has been covered by many jazz and blues artists. The first recording, by Nat King Cole in 1953, achieved some popularity but was not among that year's top 20 songs. It was Bobby Darin's version from his 1959 album of the same title that introduced the song to a wider audience, and it has since become a jazz standard

"Try to Remember" is a song about nostalgia from the musical comedy play The Fantasticks (1960). It is the first song performed in the show, encouraging the audience to imagine what the sparse set suggests. The words were written by the American lyricist Tom Jones while Harvey Schmidt composed the music. The song expresses emotions, or conveys a belief in faith. Sometimes they give instructions or help make difficult, repetitive work a little less tiresome.

"Crazy" is a song written by Willie Nelson and popularized by country singer Patsy Cline in 1961. Nelson wrote the song while living in Houston, working for Pappy Daily's label D Records. He was also a radio DJ and performed in clubs. Nelson then moved to Nashville, Tennessee, working as a writer for Pamper Music. Through Hank Cochran, the song reached Patsy Cline. After her original recording and release, Cline's version reached number two on Billboard's Hot Country Singles, also crossing to the pop chart as a top 10 single. Cline's version is considered a country music standard and, in 1996, became the all-time most played song in jukeboxes in the United States. "Crazy" was covered by many artists; different versions reached the charts in a variety of genres. The song was featured in television shows, while many publications have included it in their all-time best songs lists. The Library of Congress inducted Cline's version into the National Recording Registry in 2003.

Have you experience deep, all-encompassing love. This song investigates into the theme of unconditional love and commitment. I gave my lifetime partner TESSIE this kind of love, have you? The song “ALL THE WAY” touches on the journey of love, acknowledging that the path may be uncertain and that only a fool would claim to know where it leads. However, the song's expresses a fearless commitment to love 'all the way,' regardless of the circumstances. This sentiment reflects a romantic ideal of love that is not only passionate but also steadfast and enduring, a message that has made the song an enduring favorite for those who believe in love's power to transcend life's unpredictability.

When friends ask me how I loved you, I tell them I don’t know, because from the day I met you, I have loved you till now. I hope that they will understand because I was a lonely man before I met you, but my life began again the day you said YES and took my hand. I know how lonely life can be if the shadows follow me and the darkness won’t set me free. However now that you are around me... You will be my light of my life and the joy of my heart.

For years the lore has been that Neil Diamond’s 1969 song “Sweet Caroline” was an ode to the then young daughter of late president John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline. “I was writing a song in Memphis, Tennessee, for a session. I needed a three-syllable name,” Diamond said during an appearance on “Today.” “The song was about my wife at the time - her name was Marsha - and I couldn’t get a ‘Marsha’ rhyme.” “Sweet Caroline” has since become a staple track, and in 2013 Diamond announced that he would donate the royalties to One Fund Boston to help those affected by the Boston Marathon bombing. The song has been played at every Boston Red Sox home game for more than a decade, and there was a spike in downloads after the April 2013 tragedy. Diamond is releasing his first album in six years, “Melody Road,” and said on “Today” that he “was a nervous wreck going into this new album.”

"Unforgettable" is a popular song written by Irving Gordon. The song's original working title was "Uncomparable,” however, the music publishing company asked Gordon to change it to "Unforgettable.” The song was published in 1951. Nat King Cole version The most popular version of the song was recorded by Nat King Cole, in 1951, from his album, Unforgettable (1952), with an arrangement written by Nelson Riddle.[3] A non-orchestrated version of the song, recorded in 1952, is featured as one of the seven bonus tracks on Cole's 1998 CD reissue of 1955's otherwise completely instrumental album, Penthouse Serenade. On March 30, 1961, Nat King Cole recorded the tune anew, in a stereo version (with Ralph Carmichael and his Orchestra) of the Riddle arrangement, for the album The Nat King Cole Story (1961). In 1991, after Elvis Presley's musical director Joe Guercio had the idea, Cole's original 1951 recording of the song was edited and reworked to create a duet with his daughter, Natalie. The remixed version reached number 14 on the Hot 100, matching the peak position of the original version on the Billboard Best-Selling Pop Singles chart, and also numbers three on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. The song also won three awards at the 34th Annual Grammy Awards (1992): Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Performance. Nat Cole's original recording was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2000.
