Radio/Satellite and ex Video enthusiast
Explanation of my Videos ..
The videos titled home/family/work/weddings are my own recordings
The news feeds, are reception from satellites, outside links back to broadcasters, received with motorised dish
The TV DX is received via atmospheric anomolies during the summer months.
The continuity material is stuff i had "captured" inadvertantly at the end of tapes.
If you know i made a (wedding) video for you in the 80/90s, i still have all the recordings. Please get in touch through comments on any of the videos if you require anything uploading or new DVD copies for yourselves.
I have an interest in old recordings as can be seen from my reel to reel recordings
If anyone has any issues with any of my videos (copyright or otherwise) please get in touch and i will remove. I am making no money from any of the published material

Great sound
Sounds excellent Andy
Uuh these muggs know nothin' about Salt-n-Pepa let alone rap/hip-hop🙄✋️.....#TexasBrotha 🤠🫵
never realized this was a Go Go beat
Definitely not the War Requiem
One of my fave bands from late70s...remember buying scared to dance and hammering jukebox for Into the valley and tv stars....still play them regularly...rip stuart....and thank you all❤
I temember one where a murder victim s skull was reconstructed just like they do today....this and Mortimer Wheeler were my favourie shows.not likethe cheesyrubbishtodsy
Love this. I miss guitar music with energy.
Really good pop song with a very good live vocal here.
Stuart Adamson was destined to be a front man
Какая отвратительная баба
Thank you Andrew for the video from the UK,Mike and friends have a great repeater system de n8wjz Ohio
Great you can hear it back !
Now we don’t even have the book😮
Bonnie lassie 🎉
Brilliant episode! Two lovely, happy couples, Brucie on top form and a great ending. Marvellous.
26:44 😎
Unfortunately, this crowd had a bug up their ass. I’m not sure if they understood what hip hop was in the mid 80s. 🤔
0:04 to 0.37 Does anyone know the music that’s used for the RTE 1 Monday Night promo?
Maureen, the object of my hearts desire, well maybe not my heart but certainly some other vital organ.
Looks like its in the same era as saber of London Both excellent
11 years after this was posted we're still loving Alan's phenomenal playing arent we? Yes, of course we are.
Absolutely brilliant!
I wish someone would reply to my comment🇨🇦 Are these episodes based on the true story? I see nothing to give me this information. Can someone help me much appreciated thank you and have a terrific evening.🙂🌌
I can only think all the episodes are based on the true stories of the real life character, as this is eluded to in the short documentary i posted, link in the description above in the description, hope this helps
😂😂😂😂
Playing "Don't Look Down" live requires an expert synth player. No surprise, then, that they employed the services of Mr. Peter-John Vettese. Look him up, you'll understand why.

Outstanding! Love the shadowy, creepy ambience! Superb acting and a brilliant story! Thank you for posting!
Bassist Graham Edwards is crushing this session greatest UK group and musicians the real A Team ....
Bring back top of the pops!
This kind of reminds me of the challenger launch
Mitch Lebe was the anchor on duty during that aircheck.
...Vickers can't fiddle 😂,....oh yes they can, ask the kids! 😮
And this is the point Richard Jobson became a massive poseur and first rang the death knell for the band.
What a boring conversation. I wish I had never heard it. I've had better conversations with myself.
Where did it all go wrong?!! To think we used to able to watch musicians of this calibre on TV. 😭😭 I remember recording and watching this on video repeatedly when I was learning the drums! Tony Beard is an absolute monster. What a shame he's been forgotten about. One of the most exciting drum performances I've ever seen! Unbelievable.
one of thee best
Murphy was obviously an acolyte of Allan Holdsworth, but a fantastic player none the less. Fabulous band. Top notch!
Thanks for this 11 year old post belatedly! I understand the theme was used by the BBC between 1968 and 1971. I streamed your old reel 2 reel recording via Sound Tap on my Macbook, opened up the waveform in Wave Pad and clipped the identical passage of music from Rachmaninov's 1st Symphony using every pre- 1968 recording of it I could find. There was an exact fit amongst them. This is the Leningrad State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Kurt Sanderling during the early 1950s, although the orchestra was sometimes billed under variations in that name, eg. Leningrad Philharmonic. Of course the commercial download is clearer, but wave patterns are extremely close, the speed, pitch and balance of the orchestra - even through the mist of time - are the same, right down to the last three notes in the clip, played without any slowing up. For anyone interested, the recording is still available online under the title Kurt Sanderling, The Soviet Years, or on the French music magazine's Diapason d'Or label, Qobuz.com or prestomusic.com respectively.
Alan is he forgotten 80s UK guitar hero.
That bassist is a monster and has incredible tone too!!
Wow just love how the end of Something About You blended into Physical Presence so beautifully. Level 42 always one of my favorite bands. Missing Boon.
Used to watch them in the belle vue every other Tuesday great band great musicians
Enjoyed the show, but loved seeing the adverts from 1982.
love the ads as well
In the early 1980s, Play Your Cards Right was also broadcast @ 7.15 pm on a Sunday evening.
I started playing this game, after London Weekend Television broke the proverbial bottle of champagne 🍾 over it, sometime in 1980.
Monsters on this stage, Tony Beard, Alan Murphy, is that Jay Lochrie? Everyone is so talented , not taking anything away from Peter or Richard either! One of my favourite bands ever
The audience is cringe ugh
#ITV PERFECT CARDS A GAME 🇬🇧
Stuart Adamson a massive musical hero of mine. RIP.
I could care less about the crowd! I was a middle school kid! Your generation is lame for life! Just leave us alone! This performance is dope!❤🥰
Never Forgotten Stuart x
