Actually, my Fleet Carrier returned nine times before it successfully jumped. For the first time, I really liked a bug in the game😀 @SciGameOne Link of the short with the same issue: ruclips.net/user/shortsYgaSFs1f3Dk?si=uSpalY6KpOfdkcoL

Ну прикольно
Good pithy guide. I have posted it in my Sqn Discord and encouraged them to come and give you a like. o7

Thanks
You're Welcome!
That’s crazy!
Thats a 100th guide on that matter ive found. Or so it seems. And yet no one else ive seen didnt explane where to get the crystals. I googled it to the point "everything is pointless, life has no meaning and i wanna drop this shit". Now i have a clear instruction for my smooth brain. Finally. Thank you.
You are welcome. Glad it was helpful!
"You're going to feel a slight sting" the sligth sting:

The video i was looking for :) Thankyou.
You're welcome!
Amazing guide, thank you
Glad it was helpful! Many thanks!
The GIG's accomplished before Padre had finished his sentence😂
“next stop, magnus gateway” ahh carrier 💀
You don’t say how to go from gathering materials from Dav’s Hope to getting Focus Crystals. I did just what you said and have zero Focus Crystals.
"Focus Crystals" are the manufactured materials that can be gathered at the "Dav's Hope" (as mentioned in the video from 3:40). Just collect all the materials around the perimeter from 10 drop location mentioned in this video guide. Then log out and log back in (in Solo mode) and collect all the respawned materials again. Repeat this procedure until you've collected all the required amount of "Focus Crystals". It usually takes about 20-30 minutes to gather more than you need.
Ah, I was confused as the video made it seem like a straightforward process like the previous Guardian site and not a repeat as needed random farm. Thank you for the clarification.
You're welcome. I should have mentioned in this video that you need to log out and log back in for the materials to respawn for both Guardian site and Dav's Hope. My bad :)
It is a thousand light away, the plot will not travel to that distance
Actually, you can plot a route up to 20,000 light years long. You won't be able to do this if your ship's jump range is less than the minimum distance between the stars along the route (you can also play with the route algorithm between "fastest" and "economical"). And specifically to show that, all this is possible for beginners, I created a second Elite account and started doing all this from scratch, as I did in this video. Note that the DBX I fly here is non engineered and to cover 1000ly it needs around 30-35 jumps depending on the galactic region (density of star clusters).
Elite dangerous is a little abandon, there is not so much videos for it
Great video. I wouldn't go in a DBX though. I bring my trainees through to a fully engineered 5A FSD (SCO). Gather/Trade the required Focus Crystals. Then switch the Engineered FSD across from the DBX to the Phantom. Leave a 5 slot empty. Pick up 8 HN Shock Mounts to take with us. Then unlock and fit a Size 5 FSD Booster out at the Guardian Area of space at The Prospect, which has a Guardian Technology Broker. An extra 10.5Ly per jump and a size 6A Fuel Scoop for the journey home. I always go with them and help them out. Good fun activity.
You're absolutely right. I did the same thing years ago and unlocked all guardian modules and fighters with my Krait Phantom. It's a great ship for that purpose and I enjoy flying it. But I wanted to make a guide for everyone, so that even beginners can do it easily. DBX is a good exploration ship for beginners. It's relatively cheaper, small enough to land almost anywhere and it has a huge jump range. It can jump more than 47LY without engineering (only Anaconda jumps longer). The only drawback is a lack of space in the optional.
500h and i only have 2bil, it's all thanks to the booze cruise, but i'll have more if i do the limited orthrus farm before the nerf. people say it's billion/h but irl i only get 500mil 2h in public, i guess u really need a friend to play this game for faster billion in that orthrus, otherwise just wait the boring booze cruise community events came back.
You are right. I have about 4000 flight hours in Elite and I've never come across a way to make a billion/hour. Perhaps this could be done through community goals. But I was always interested in a more permanent source of income. You know, it's actually much easier to become a billionaire today. Cause I remember years ago I made my first billion for 7 months of flying every day (~6 hours a day). But today we can easily earn more than a billion in a day (but certainly not in an hour 😀).
Just jumping back in great guide
if you got scammed on trinium for the missjumps well there we have our failjumps in cariers XD
😂
Did you set the destination as the planet it was already orbiting? This happened to me in that scenario.
No actually I set the destination to the next body in the system, but it jumped back 9 times before it's successfully jumped to the right destination😂
Gotta make sure you didn't accidentally leave the stove on
😂
Did.... Did it honk when it arrives? O.o
Yes, but a little differently :)
that's an interesting bug... probs sever issue? dunno
Actual billionairs guide in Elite: do literally anything. Some are faster than the others, but any path can get you there.
You are right: “Some are faster than the others”, and this may change depending on updates.
Thanks for this!
My pleasure!
Agree with the comments, I love playing the game but I am a beginner and these videos showcase things I didn't know you could do and make it more interesting, subbed, thanks
Glad I could help!
Good guide but way to much to it you can buy an The Artemis suit and buy a fuel scoop. Jump to your first system with plants on it then after that sell the data and buy the surface scanner. And your off to the races
Agree. There are actually several ways to do this. And in terms of time spent, they are all approximately the same. You can even do without a ship, just on foot. The question is which way will make the whole process more fun. And this moment is individual for each CMDR.
Easy way to remember refuel stars KGB-FOAM
Step 1 - learn to fly your ship Step 2 - do some trading and some mission Step 3 - do whatever you find fun, relaxing or challenging, depending on what you want from your gaming. Step 4 - profit
These are the steps for "How to play the game with ease and having fun". I used these steps unconsciously 6 years ago, when I couldn't even dream of making a billion. Well, collecting billions back then was much more difficult than it is now. Looks like global inflation has affected the virtual worlds also 😆
searchig for water atmosphere bodies in Inara... Doing this right now THANK YOU!!
I started my 3rd cmdr buying a hauler, equipping for exploration and running 5000Ly through the road to riches. It took more time but gave me 600 million CR, a requisite to Palin and access to Shinrarta since I became Elite in exploration.
Thanks, i serching around the module .. and alredy be there😂
😂
Well done badger. That was quite good. Enjoy the Sub.
Many Thanks!
reinstalling Elite
Two AFMU's are an unnecessary burden on a small ship's power plant. Good tips otherwise.
You are right. I installed it just in case, since the budget and reactor capacity (with some manipulations) allow it.
Agreed. but otherwise a good run though. I enjoy helping Noobs get going. I normally meet up with them for combat. They follow me and goal hang on my kills for 20-30 mins. Then I get them into a Hauler and an Artemis Suit. Lead them down to 15% Discount area of space and to a Stratum. That gets them Cr, 19 mill. With this, an A Rated Viper and A Rated DBX. This is a good viable alternative for those not wishing to do combat, at leas, early on.
Gonna try that today, I'm currently doing Courier/Transport Mission to learn the controls better because I come from X Games where stuff is way more automated - there I've spent the most time drinking coffee while autopiloting through gates 😹 PS: I hope the Ganker interdicting me several times in a row meets his Doom with his 100M+ Credit bounty. Great experience if the first human contact is a trash talking a. hole 😆
😆
I am sorry to hear that. Elite generally has a more mature, friendly and helpful player base. Most people will not notice you/ignore you. After that people will be friendly and helpful. Then there is the small but memorable group of people that like to spoil other peoples days. If you get fed up with someone. You can go to your Coms Panel, it will list who killed you or was in space with you a minute ago when you were running for your life. There is a block button. Hit that and it is unlikely you will ever see them again.
@@williamvorkosigan5151 Well that guy one shotting me was just what I needed while deliberately trying not to toast myself practicing courrier missions with FSD jumps and supercruising 😂 But thanks to this video I learned how to cartograph entire systems and don't need like 100 probes to map a planet 🤣
I have like 1000 hours in the game so I like to watch these videos to verify that the advice is sound and I've gotta say that your video was incredibly well put together and informative
I'm very glad to hear it!
Many Thanks!
Doing this when I get home from work
Help yourself out and open an Inara account if you have not already. It keeps track of everything for you and in later game you can make crafting lists. There are a number of 3rd party tools out there for Elite. If I could have only one, it would be Inara.
This video earned subscriber #10 thank you for giving me a goal in the game, I will be using the ship but changing a few modules. And gonna grind a bit longer and buy a t3 Artemis suit I found
I agree. T3 suit will make the whole process more productive.
If you are gathering plants. There is no need to upgrade or buy higher Artemis. If you have the cash and you see one available, then why not but I wouldn't make it a priority.
