Why not mention the price and link to purchase the boat?
hola buenas noches hay venta de estos productos en Argentina
Can those on the gulf open water
What is brand/make and model of your trailer? Thank you.
The trailer used in this video would have been a Yakima Rack and Roll. They come in a 66" and 78" width. I believe the one in the video is the 78".
Good design, good to add a motor😊
What other crossover yaks do you carry down there, I am interested in the Eddyline Sandpiper 130 or Dagger Stratos 12 L for the Cimarron and North Canadian trips and maybe Liquidlogic Stinger XP or Dagger Katana something with a drop down skeg for my outta state creek and rock garden trips. My son is looking for a Wilderness Pungo 12 or Prijon Yukon Expedition
we need to see what you are talking about
ㅇh good
Buongiorno , bellissima idea ! Esiste un distributore Blue Sky Boatworks 360 anche in Europa ? grazie
Could you explain where to put a transducer for fish finder? I’m thinking of getting this boat but want a fish finder
What trailer is that? I need one for a 360.
gd for sea fishing ?
Nice little rig you got there OK for fresh water and shala such but you wanna go out the ocean need something a little larger as well as 5 horse kicker capability that would be super
*_These are amazing.>_**_allmy.tips/SevylorKayaks?ШП_**_ < We have had them for over a month and have used them several times. Just great. Seriously, I was really skeptical, but they have been awesome. We got two and have two adults and two kids in our family. Easily one adult can let both kids ride with them. One sits in front and one on the back, no where near close to sinking. They pump up very fast, good hand pump they give, you can get the whole things blown up in under 5 mins, maybe under 3. They are a little odd at first to steer, but very quickly you get use to it. Even our 5 year old goes on by themselves (obviously we are watching ha ha) Fold up easily, go into their pack, easy storage... just wonderful. Highly recommended. We get lots of compliments on them where ever we go._*
_excelleent quality. easy to blow up and fun to use•••>__allmy.tips/SevylorKayaks?ㅝδ__ good for ocean with mild surf and waves. I love using it and my little Dachshund does, too._
*_I love this kayak!>_**_luky7.co/1mtd?U143 _**_ < It's perfect for paddling around on the lake. It's easy to maneuver and super lightweight to carry. The design is brilliant - from backpack to fully inflated in less than 10 minutes. In the off season, I store them on the wall in the garage - in the backpack. All of my friends are jealous and want one now. I'll definitely recommend they get one of their own._*
No close up of the prop when doing a review. No close up of how the drop down prop works. No close up of how the rudder works either. How shallow can it pedal on the water before the prop hits the bottom. Will the prop get stuck when used in the grass? How well does it track? No close up shots of the prop or rudder and no under water footage. Never mentioned the price. I’ve heard it runs about $3500.00 is this true? .
Id like to see it in the ocean too. It looks awesome¡
So what's the difference between the Angler and the Escape?
Outboard motor on back would make this thing fly. Dude who gave review is on crack it's a catamaran not a kayak. Other thing good about this catamaran is you can take each side off and throw it on the roof. Options are nice. And he must of never been on a real boat there very stable.
I always have felt that the sieg guard on the rear of the keel is another great feature to speak about I have a 12 and a 12.5 and they are two of our favorites out of our seven kayaks , jackson , perception , liquid logic, etc....
I've got a Coosa and love it. Question for you - what brand is that standup bar?
为什么中国没有
My review: 1) it's for one person. 2) Can't take G/F or dog. 3) Seat is too high. 4) It doesn't look fast. 5) Doesn't look suitable for rough water. 6) If the pedal system breaks down there is no other way to get back to shore. It's also too heavy, requiring a trailer. And, the price?
I love the height of the seat and yes it's only for one person and the boat is extremely stable and fast and I can afford it.
And another thing, who in the hell wants to flat on their Ass and legs,.Any older person would love to have this boat.
I want to see Ben out of Tulsa do a video with his crew like to see you guys do a review of the feel free lure series
Thanks for the suggestion! we will get working on that for you!
What trailer is that?
New Sub here...Very cool vid.... I am the Army guy from Missouri that visited the shop in DEC. Will be back probably in OKC this week too . I might have to do a video for my channel when I get there and show Missouri peeps your shop.
Love my tupelo, do you sell a shorter seat to swap out when using a full spray skirt?
What type of pfd are you wearing?
I really like this boat a LOT. I like the price of the Bite but this one is ready for my fish-finder and I love the way the center hatch is out of the way and not down the middle long ways like most I have seen.
Do you guys sell the Old Town Topwater PDL 2019 locking steering component or do you have to order it directly from Old Town?
Hey Mike, we do sell the Old Town Topwater PDL in both the 10 and 12 foot size. They are awesome boats too, they are a little less feature rich. The Predator PDL is Old Town's top of the line pedal drive kayak and the Topwaters are built a little more basic to save pricing but still amazing kayaks.
Was told this vessel was not to be used in salt water? True?
This boat is great for salt or fresh water, if you use it on salt water just make sure to rinse off everything with fresh water when you are done to help prevent corrosion. The drive head is self contained and was made to use in salt water and not get salt water into the mechanism. Great question, let us know if you have any more.
Let’s see it in rougwate off shore
I think this looks awesome! Are you considering coming out with a two-seater?? My son and I are looking for a two-seater model...
Hey Daniel, they already make the two-seater. Here is the link for you: store.blueskyboatworks.com/360-tri-cat/
How does it turn while pedaling in reverse? I demoed a Coosa FD and I was disappointed by the rudder control as well as its inability to turn when going backwards. The rudder control looks much nicer on this boat!
I have the Tupelo LT 35lbs ..Love it .. Great video ..
I love the Tupelo LT too! I definitely have no grievances when I have to move it around haha! Thanks for the comment!
Great overview. Just picked mine up this evening!
You'll love it! Congrats!
How do you like it now that you have had it for a few months?
You did a great job with the review. All good content without a bunch of unnecessary dialog.
How about doing a video in saltwater in waves can it handle that
Unfortunately, there is no saltwater anywhere near us, or I would be chasing bull reds inshore or some other massive fish offshore. As far as handling waves, I think it would be ok, but not exceptional. It does sit kind of low so you might get some splash over when launching in surf. Once youre launched, I think it would be great out there if it were choppy because of how incredibly stable it is. As long as youre ok getting a little wet I think it would be fine. Like I said though, I cant get it in saltwater so i really cant give you a 100% for sure answer!
@@oklahomakayak6984 send me a boat and my son and I would be do a series of videos for you. We live .5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico... :-)
Daniel Nicholson we in okla don't need to know that. We fish in ponds rivers and lakes
Bout as quiet as a tank.
It is honestly really comparable to all the other pedal drives on the market (minus the mirage drive). The mic audio just has some background fuzziness because its a cheaper mic! Wanted something that was expendable since it would more than likely get wet!
@@oklahomakayak6984 I hear what your saying about the mic but I've been next to one of these on the water and in my opinion they are create a lot more noise than our Pescador Pilot pedal drive kayak and of course our Hobie. The noise alone to me was a deal killer.
That's fair!
@@oklahomakayak6984 is it noisy if you use the electric motor?
What kind of Trailer do you pull it with?
We use a Yakima Rack and Roll 78.
Outstanding demo of the Blue Sky Angler. I’m salivating. Tell me about your trailer, it looks collapsible. Thank you!
Yes the trailer is a Yakima rack and roll 78. the wheels can be popped off and the trailer can stand on its end for easy storage.
So nice great video and yes this is the boat i have been waiting for !!!!
Hi sir, I have this boat and really like it. It is very stable...do you have any info regarding the electric drive for this yak? Thanks and great walk thru video!
What kind of information are you looking for? Thanks!
2 questions: Is there a child seat option? Can the pedal drive be pedaled in reverse?
There's no specific child seat that I know of for the boat. However, it would be really easy to strap down a cooler (like an Orion or yeti) that has some padding on it for them! Also, the boat does go in reverse, just pedal backwards. That is one really nice thing about it, hands free reverse!
Thank you for your response! I like what I see and hear and will be looking farther into this option.
Nice review, When I get mine its going to get a foot controlled trolling motor on the bow and a honda 2.9 on the stern, I fish some big waters in florida, need to move quick to get the fishing spots, also well be taking this to the florida keys, that well be the big test.
sc1212able that will help you to get away from the gators too, I hope.
Been fishing in a 10 foot kayak in lakes infested with alligators, never had any problems
I really do like this Blue Sky 360..........but it's not "the only small fishing craft this stable". The Twin Troller X-10 is every bit as stable, if not more so. Two 220 lb men can stand on the same side tray of the Twin Troller, and it will not capsize. I own a Twin Troller, and it really is everything they claim it to be, and then some. But as I said, I really do like the Blue Sky 360. If the Twin Troller didn't exist, I would jump all over the 360. Mr. Jackson did a great job on this craft.
Thanks for the info. I didn't know about the twin troller until now. I suppose I was speaking for the boats that we have in store! I will definitely check out the twin troller though. I think the boats are just in a different category more so; which goes to show that the bluesky is really stable if it's comparable to a 2-man boat!
That's ok, a lot of people still don't know about the Twin Troller X-10 ( or they simply refuse to believe what they see & hear in all those videos ) because it is manufactured, marketed & sold "factory direct only" through the parent company: "Freedom Electric Marine". The Twin Troller is now going on 11 years of being available. (I am NOT affiliated with the company, I am only an extremely satisfied owner. This boat ROCKS in so many ways. ) So "advertising", marketing and information is "slow to get out" due to 1 small company, that has a manufacturer in Indiana that can crank out as many Twin Trollers as needed to meet future demand. The fishing community simply has to catch on. Kayaks have tons of market backing & exposure due to RETAILERS all over the nation. It's a shame that many kayak owners or guys wanting a high-end kayak get so sore about the Twin Troller. Don't get me wrong, I really dig several of the kayaks that are NOT priced up above "$3,000"......like the Hobie's. The Blue Sky 360 is an exception of course, for obvious reasons. I just wish people would understand that when a man or a team invents a boat like no other, that is a true game changer, and flat-out better.......then that man or team has THE RIGHT to make those claims. But guys everywhere get all bent out of shape. It's childish. Check out all the real owner reviews on the Twin Troller website. Many bought high-end kayaks BEFORE they discovered the Twin Troller. And I'll give ya 1 guess what they wound up doing. I will be doing perhaps the best "3 part series" review about how I rig my Twin Troller within the next 10 days or so, on fellow Twin Troller & friend's youtube channel: "Lunker012". That is "Gerry". He bought a Hobie PA14 first too. We have arranged for him to post my videos on his channel soon. I "invented" the best "modification/accessory" for the Twin Troller to date.......and I doubt it will ever be topped. It's that good. It takes the already great Twin Troller and makes it far better. What is it? I can't spill the beans until "the big reveal" on my videos as mentioned. Most TT owners will want to make themselves one for their boat too. I will be including measurements & instructions on the "device". Every video & claim you see about the Twin Troller is 100% accurate & true. I've owned mine for nearly 2 years now. LOVE IT. And I've owned quite a few boats in the past including 2 different bass boats. You are a nice & honest guy. I respect that and just subbed your channel. Seriously, thank you for being kind & civil.......without "attacking" a Twin Troller owner like so many do. Tight Lines!!!
UPDATE: I have the video series completed for my Twin Troller and my "killer invention" for it. But posting the videos is being delayed a couple weeks, until Gerry gets back in town to post it on his youtube channel: "Lunker012". So for anyone interested, keep your eye on his channel. It may take him yet another week to get settled in back home, and then post my video.
Can you mount trolling motor
Jackson is coming out with an electric option that turns their flex drive into a trolling motor! I'm sure you could mount some kind of traditional trolling motor if you have an older one lying around as well.
was that vibration coming from you pedaling or background engine noise ?
Background engine noise... Apparently, at the lake I went to a group of PWC (essentially jet skis) guys set up a track and have practices out there. I now know for next time to pick a day thats a bit calmer!
Can it go off shore? Big waters..
It definitely has the stability and ease of pedaling to do so!
