Nikon D200 with the Nikkor 50MM F1.4 Lens - Street Photography
Просмотров 8798 месяцев назад
I don't often shoot with the Nikon D200 with a full manual lens. It is a challenge to shoot street photography with a manual lens, but this challenge was well worth exploring. The lens was a Nikkon 50MM F1.4 that I had from my Nikon FE. Slapping a film lens on a digital body was both fun and challenging. This did give you a bit of a film look. What do you think?

Here are some Canon S95 Street Photography images, no editing, straight from the camera. This is a very handy and fun digi camera that you may still be able to find for a decent price. Very compact and the colors you get from this camera are amazing for a 10 Megapixel point and shoot digi cam.

While shopping at my local Swap Meet, I was able to get this all around Sigma lens for $35 USD. This lens can shoot wide at 28mm and can zoom up to 200mm. I do like the colors as well as the black and white photos I shot with is lens. The sample images are straight out of the camera with no edits. The black and white photos were shot with the internal black and white photo setting. Enjoy.

I am hoping to shoot a new roll of film on this camera soon. Enjoy!

Underrated Point and Shoot Camera? The Pentax IQZoom 60R
Просмотров 302Год назад
Found this Pentax Point and Shoot camera at a thrift store for $6. I took a gamble and I am happy I did. This camera is pocket friendly, has double exposure and other great features. While some point and shoots are out there selling for top dollar, this camera can be found on the cheap and will give you some great shots. I do wish the zoom range was better, however, this camera is great for str...

Hi everyone! I hope you are finding these sample photo videos helpful. I was very fortunate to have found this camera, the Olympus Stylus Zoom 140 on Facebook Marketplace. I have been trying to get my hands on one of these cameras for a while, but never found one under $100 until I came across this one. It was in great shape. The only thing I needed for this was a battery, which thankfully I al...

Great photos
What film stock did you use
Fuji Film Superia 400
Your exposure looks off OR Your photo lab made no attempt in color correcting when printing.
Expired film. Very expired film.
Very nice colors, are they sooc? or what settings do you use on camera?
If you go to Scene mode, there is a setting that looks like an old clock. Select that and turn the lens ring until you get a color scheme that you like. I usually do one or two clicks. Also some images here are just straight from Aperture priority. Enjoy!
Wow where is that?
San Diego for some photos. Monterey California for others.
Unfortunately the S95 seems to be "trendy" at the moment and used prices have more than doubled in the last year or two. Still a good camera of course, more controls and optical zoom make it better than most smartphone cameras. Some nice snaps there.
I consider myself lucky. I bought this camera at a thrift store for $40, not really knowing anything about the camera.
@@streetdocuments4452 I got mine on ebay a few years ago for $75 or so, now it's more like $175. Same camera but it's gotten a few years older, so just trendy inflation I think.
This is awesome!
Nice shots! What settings did you use for your photos? Are they also edited or straight from the camera? Thanks!
These are straight from the camera. Some Auto, but also their is a nostalgia filter that I love shooting with. Some of the photos in this video used that filter.
That is me. Who posted this. I am the best living rockabilly singer. Yep
Underexposed. It needs a bit more light.
I agree. I took most of these with aperture priority. Next time I will shoot all manual and a fresh roll instead of an expired roll. Thanks for watching.
Did you use auto settings for these?
Auto for some and There is a scene mode that I selected the nostalgia filter.
I have an old Olympus, maybe I should go shoot with you!
Nice! Is yours film or digital? A photowalk always sounds good.
0:31 amazing
Thanks! Do you shoot film also?
started my photography journey 2 days ago, currently shooting with the Pentax k1000 Kodak gold 200 iso :)

Another good video.
Subscribed. Hope to see many more videos.
Thanks! Two new videos coming soon with two film cameras I recently got. One is a Nikon and the other is a Pentax.
Balboa Park, San Diego ❤
Yes! I actually am lucky to work at Balboa Park and get to shoot there often.
I didn’t even know that Yashica Point and Shoot Camera it has such cameras, thank you friend big Like to you 📷😊
Yes. This is the Yashica EZ Zoom 105. It’s a very underrated camera that you can find fairly cheap. I recently sold this camera to buy more cameras to test and make videos of.
@@streetdocuments4452 Yes, very interesting, I will try to find it for me and test it, thank you once again 😊
Cool
Thanks and thanks for watching.
Nice photos! Did you do any post edits on them?
Not much. The Canon S95 has some awesome presets. Most of the photos here are straight from the camera. Some with some crop, but overall, straight from the camera.
@@streetdocuments4452 I just recently got the S95 and am still trying to figure it out. Would you share what settings/presets you used? Thanks so much!
@@mizzmai06 I mainly shoot with the Scene setting. Select the nostalgia filter and turn the dial on the lens till you see a look you like. I will make a video soon with some of my favorite settings. Good luck and happy shooting.
@Street Documents awesome thanks. I've tried that previously but may still have to fiddle around with it
Whatis the ISO range of this camera?
Technically, since this is a film camera, the iso range depends on the film you use. For good day light shooting, I use 100 speed film. This roll was 400 speed which is a great all around film. You will need to use your flash while shooting indoors. Hope this answers your question.
I understand that thanks for the answer, my question though was about it’s ISO range, i mean could it only take 400 films but nothing higher?
@@joeelnadi9252 From what I have read, it can read Dx code from 100-400 iso film. Unfortunately I recently sold this camera but it can be found fairly easily online. It’s an underrated camera and fun to shoot with. Many point and shoot film cameras have gotten out of hand with their prices. I did see recently that Pentax is going to make new film cameras because the demand for film cameras has grown. I am hoping to buy one and make a sample video of the shots I take. Thanks for watching.
Got the s90 and it's a little beast gotta love the ccd sensor it has..great pics
Hello! I've stumbled upon your videos from one of your comments, and I love these. Very beautiful shots. I have some questions about advice with buying cameras at thrift stores. How can I score and find some that are good quality etc?
Hello! As far as thrift stores, it’s very hit or miss. I have more luck at my local AM Vets thrift stores and other thrift stores that support a local charity. Goodwill has a great store online but they have gotten very pricey. I usually ask as soon as I get there if they have any cameras. Also, ask them if they frequently receive cameras. There is one Goodwill near my home that never has cameras because 1. They don’t accept cameras, and 2. Employees at these place usually have first pick at the donations. As far as quality, the first place I check is the battery compartment. If it looks damaged, it usually is because of the electronics. As far as mechanical cameras, press all the buttons, vary the shutter speed to make sure it is firing at the various speeds. Open the film slot to see if the light seals are in good shape. My last way to tell is the price. Many thrift stores have a return policy. They usually won’t put something out for sale if it is not functional. Aside from your local thrift stores, I check Facebook marketplace, local swap meets, and venture out to outside of your area thrift stores. I hope that helps and good luck. I have seen this particular camera online for under $40. I just got lucky finding it for $12 on a half off day for electronics. Let me know if you find anything!
That little camera packs quite a punch! I LOVE the photo you took at 0:16
Thanks! I did not have high hopes for this camera when I got it, but it has been my go to lately.
The canon s95 is on my wishlist after watching this video ! I’ll will definitely be binging your content
Thanks. It’s a great and fun camera to shoot with.
What film did you use?
Same question!
Hello and sorry for the late response. I used Fuji Superia 400 film since it is currently the cheapest I can find. Usually at Walmart for under $30 for 3 rolls of 36 exposures.
