So noisy. I'd have such a headache!
Até que percebes da coisa 🤔

أريد أهاجر هذه الجزر ولكن ليس عندي تأشيرة
Set engines full
Field of view out of the Q400 cockpit is insane!
Amazing video!
all PAPI is red? wtf
nah gw suka nih sama pesawat, simple tapi powefull
At 07:41 you will understand why Q400 pilots fly with the windscreen wipers in the up-position. A design flaw the manufacturer never seems to fix...
The new Q400 checklist is entitled: ""FADEC for Dummies"".
DOORS AND ELECTRICAL should be on the MFD’s :p
Isn't this where the Azores Glider landed?
No, this was on the Terceira island (Azores) goo.gl/maps/HGSAny96hymMkveDA
Great video. Liked and subscribed.
Hi Miguel Nunes, we can talk by email about Q400 tips? Im a new operator.
The landing gear assembly on this plane is the best among its peers.
Dope!
Rip Rich! My coworker 🙏🏽 said wassup to rich when i clocked in that friday. Next thing....He up in the air. #RIP
Another one of these constant "looking around" trying to "see" everything. Out of focus, jittery no good.
Daddy rich
Really like these modern Avionics, but what happens when you lose your "screens"..I am sure they have redundancies built in, but what about analog backups!?. Just wondering...Thx!
Rich probably saw this video at some point.
Ok boys, now let's see some barrel rolls!
na
RIP Skyking
so we are to believe this guy, who never actually had flown a plane before, and he said he just played a few video games, did ALL of this, and then he managed to DO A BARREL ROLL in this type of plane? who is dumb enough to believe that? its obvious he purposely crashed the plane (or it was really remote controlled and the audio was just pre-recorded) on that island and the jets that came after him probably blew up something on the island, and his crash was a cover for whatever got blown up on the island. its looking like it was a decommissioned submarine at that island, which is named Richard B Russel, which is strange considering /ourskykings/ name was Richard "Beebo" Russel, or Richard B. Russel. if you want to know more you need to follow Q and the posts from Qanon.
Shamgar, the ICON Dude, all you got to do is use the yoke to fly the aircraft like any other plane of this type. It's not that difficult
You saying you follow QAnon sealed your chances of people wanting to debate your opinions that are wrong.
R.I.P #SkyKing You will be missed!
Interesting to see that checklists are still paper, not digital (e.g. iPad). I guess paper is the best failsafe option. And at first I was mentally chastising them for not reading out the checklist steps until (silly groundling that I am) I realised that of course they were reading out / checking off, but by mikes into headphones.
All of these videos need to be removed from you tube so more people can't steal more planes. This is scary
Maybe you are not aware, a ramp worker stole a plane out here in Seattle. He crashed only killing himself, it could have been far different, there was a pearl jam concert at the Mariners stadium with a full house, thousands could have been killed...
Another fake news false flag. Wheres the body or bodies? Theres no way he pulled this off. He never identified his altitude and was way too laxatasical about the whole thing. Im not buying it. 911 was a bunch of crap too.
The 9/11 terrorists had to go to flight training in the US to learn their skills. Now you can learn with a few RUclips videos and flight simulator software.
Like if Rich Russell brought you here (The Seattle plane incident)
I wonder if Richard Russell watched this? RIP Skyking
Skyking did it sneaky like
So that, kids, is how you steal a plane from SeaTac and fly it like you stole it.
Came here to see what the Horizon Air employee had to do to startup and steal a Horizon Air Q400 from SeaTac (KSEA).
We live in the information age ..... You can pretty much learn to do anything on the internet.
Agree looks like a bitch
From looking at other videos a Cold Start would have taken him a Hour! :o
@Miguel any input on this?
oversoul that guy went out like a boss.
Is it normal to use Flaps 15 for takeoff? LPAZ has plenty of runway - so no need for additional lift I guess. What's the reason for this flap setting? Better performance? When I was flying with SATA I also had the feeling they were using Flaps 15 for takeoff. We had already 100+ feet when passing the tower building at LPAZ when I was onboard...
Crossdrop I Fly this aircraft for an US carrier and Flaps 15 is standard unless weather conditions require us to use a lower setting.
In your opinion could a novice like the hijacker at Sea-Tac take off and fly this plane the way he did doing barrel rolls etc? Something just does not add up.
Actually, there is a sophisticated AddOn for Microsoft Flight Simulator from Majestic Software. It is considered one of the best simulated planes. ruclips.net/video/sYNXmMjPnPo/видео.html I guess with enough hours on that plane, you're at least able to cruise around in that aircraft without stalling or whatsoever. However, the fact that he even succeeded in doing a barrel roll is strange. At least he did some mistakes - in the ATC conversation you can always hear that warning sound xD
Don Gato I was questioning the startup...but it turns out the plane has the FADEC system, engine, prop and mixture automated control, including startup.
Rage Theatre2020 From what I have heard, that is one of the things the NTSB is investigating. Whether he had previous flight training.
Excelente video
Is dash q400 capable of flying an RNAV rnp approach that requires rnp 0.30 ?
It certainly is.
Captain what is your opinion about the last Dash q400 crash in Nepal ?
I'm still a long way from captain :p There's not much information on this other than there were some thunderstorms (CB). Check The Aviation Herald.
It's like they taking off an aircraft carrier!
4:51 THAT SOUND!!!!!!!!
That sure is a short takeoff roll, must feel awesome.
Yes I know! I remember, that our Austrian (ex Tyrolean) Pilots trained the SATA Crews few months. I agree that every Company have their own Company Procedure, but SOP (Standart Operation Procedure) is only one acceptable - the Standart!
That's very true! At the beginning at least. Don't agree on your SOP standpoint but hey, that's how it currently is. :p
Very nice approach, especially the short final turn. But the Crew was busy with the paperwork below 10.000ft, and the PTU, SBY and AUX pump switches was pressed too late - in the base turn (the 2500ft call of the GPWS was 2:30 minutes before). This is a deviation to the SOP! But they managed it for a safe landing. Nice Video
Thanks. Most companies have adopted own SOPs. The short final was indeed amazing and you realize that the most when when you fly an aircraft yourself with low experience and over/undershoot many times.
don't apologize, it's a quite fair result for a iphone video Thanks for sharing
