Grade 1 listed building, the best in the North West of England and it certainly lived up to its listing. Visited Friday 31st May 2024 Last day of spring and by golly it was cold and windy but it didn't spoil our visit which was delightful and very interesting, this place is a good mooch around.....Hope you enjoy the video, I could only do a small intro as I have the so called 100 day cough that's been going around this year - had it since February..Dreadful thing. Fascinating look at the deepest canal lock in the UK.. Last in the series starting with Rochdale canal at Summit Inn Littleborough then Todmorden then Hebden Bridge which was lovely and finally at the Sowerby Bridge Locks......Thanks for watching. Canon Legria HD R806 - 1080i. Hand held.
