    This show was so awkward. The satire fell flat. Some people thought it was a real show. It was created by muckraking TV reporter Wayne Satz. It only lasted a few episodes.

    Early 1975. I think somewhere around there they started changing the background in the studio audience from blue to brown. The Lawrence Welk Show episode Hooray for Hollywood, which aired in February 1975, still used the blue background in the audience (they still continued taping at ABC Television Center long after the show went from ABC to syndication).

    This is a Friday episode as a playbreak immediately after it. Several months into the run, they played the playbreak for a trip on Fridays only, bringing back only the winners of the Mon-Fri playbreaks. The FAM block ended with LMAD for its entire two year and three month afternoon run. FAM edited out three quarters of the pricing deal here to get it in.
