Turning a $100 Car into a $300,000 Car - Restoration
This is the only modern car that I like. The project turned out to be difficult and stressful for me. A lot of things were not included in the video, because we had to redo the car, it was already ready, all that remained was to coat it with varnish, but fate decreed otherwise. While the paint was drying, my pet decided it should look different and threw it off the table :D

cant say i approve my dude, the chrome was shoddy, white paint specs or something by the right front fender, the body should have been filled, painted then color sanded, a lot of pits and the paint is showing "orange peel" the window chrome needs work. using a rotary tool on the fender and watching the sanding drum bounce off the fender was killing me, that should have been filed then hand sanded, the wheels and rims and axles are not the original ones so looks like you bought newer different ones, or pulled them off another car. those rims didnt exist when that car was made. not to mention every car restoration video i see the car looks like it was pulled out of a special backyard where youtube restorers bury their cars for a year then pull them up for a restore video, then spraying it with stuff to make it rust. i look on ebay, craigslist. offer up, etc. for corgi, tonka, what have you. not one car is in the shape i see in almost every video. i do like how you have a hobby though i think thats great.
I really enjoy working on restorations and will be making some changes to the model to improve it a bit. Thank you for writing your opinion about the project. I currently don’t have enough finances to purchase all the necessary tools for this hobby, so I’m working with what I have))
@@RebildingCar i understand completely, some of these guys have sand blasters, sand blaster ovens, laser printers, 3d printers, lathes, drill presses, laser etching the list goes on, im thinking about getting into it as a hobby myself and was pricing a sand blaster, air compressor for the sand blaster, hoses and filters and sand blasting cabinet, your looking at 500 bucks to get started. and thats looking on craiglist and offer up on the cheap. not to mention painting and making molds and all that, im convinced the guys that have all that stuff bought it because they have or had a decent regular job to buy all that stuff so i understand your situation. good luck and keep at it, youll get there my dude.
