Bell + Howell Socket Fan Light
I’ve been wanting to get one of these for a while now just to see what they are like, and I am certainly impressed! I finally took the time today and picked one up from Lowe’s. Here I have it screwed into a bulb socket in my basement.

As you can probably guess here, I finally moved out of my parents’ house and now live independently. I still live in Finneytown, but here is the very first time hearing the sirens from this house! Very interesting, this is several minutes after the tornado warning was issued, and it sounds like the sirens were activated in phases at a time, never witnessed Hamilton County do this before… Well h...

An idiot in a Ram pickup truck almost hit my car as the driver decided to change lanes without paying close attention to me! Despite having the window open and me honking my horn, he just continued on. Out of nowhere, the driver of this Dodge Challenger dodged through at a very high speed, and got in the shoulder lane in order to pass that white Toyota RAV4. While not exactly visible in this video clip, the driver of the Challenger stuck his finger out of his window and flipped off the driver of the RAV4 one in front of it. All T-128s heard here, no Whelens. The difference in pitch tends to be whether they are running off of AC power or batteries usually. My other video has some 2001s audible, but I didn’t hear any for this 2nd activation.
Yeah it was quite interesting to hear the sirens being activated almost individually during this warning. Hopefully next time there isn't much of a delay between when the warning is first issued to when the sirens start to wind up. Almost thought the sirens weren't going to sound at all lol. Your ambience sounded almost identical to mine including that one low pitched T-128.

I lived in cincinnati OH , and i also heard the ambiance of the sirens last night , and thankfully we never see any tornadoes touching down in cincinnati

I've heard this here in Scott County MN where the sirens are owned by city. County dispatch can set each system off individually if only part of the county is in danger. I think that is what is happening here versus a county wide alert.
Nope, Hamilton County has a countywide system, and they have the capability to activate select sirens at different times. It’s just strange that they were doing it this way tonight. It used to be that they only did one activation at a time, whether it be the whole county or only select sirens.
@@carexpertandy OK thanks for that info. I thought it might be like here or Hennepin County to the north of us(Including Minneapolis) where they have siren zones that they set off depending on who needs the warning.
@@dualactionsurgilator Hamilton County previously had the option to activate the sirens in zones, they had 4 and then 6, but now, they can just draw polygons over necessary areas.
Craziest night I have experienced so far since I got the warning and heard sirens minutes later

Posted videos of all I have so far, check my other recent videos. However, the Moss Tropical Breeze will be replaced sometime this spring, and I will be taking a video of the new fan once it’s installed.
For what they are (except for their light kits), these are pretty good fans.
Yeah airflow is decent, but I figured the light doesn’t matter too much since I’m also using lamps in the bedrooms.
This is probably the best “newer fan” in this house
